It’s all about finding the right balance between training, preparation, and work! I really hope you can carve out some time for recovery amidst those busy schedules. Taking care of yourself is just as important as pushing forward!

Prep mind games bro. You’re sleep deprived, running high volume, posing... you’re gonna feel flat and pick yourself apart. Trust the process brother, the physique always looks different under proper rest and stage lighting. The work you’re putting in with the vacuums and posing will show when it counts 💪

Thats what im hoping for @huand you are definitely right about picking myself apart but I do see the progress with my posing still not happy with my vacuums but just a process still have 9wks of practising multiple times a day so I do believe that everything will come together in the end

Morning guys 8 wks out and feeling so flat only on 1800cal per day and dropping weight alot I am 4kg under stage weight and was making me cranky too many people with different opinions telling me im to low too early as stage weight is 86kg currently 82kg & 4%BF had a big talk with my coach he told me still have more to loose and that week 7 I would carb load which I would gain about 8kg I guess I will keep trusting.
Can anyone tell me from experience is this the norm to cut to around 8kg underweight then put it all back on week prior getting on stage?
Looking forward to hearing back

It looks like you're well on your way to being stage-ready, but with 8 weeks left and at 1800 calories, it seems your coach is focusing on the visual aspects as well.

If you have a coach you've been working with for a while, it's important to trust their expertise and follow their guidance closely. Being on autopilot and sticking to their instructions will help you stay on track.

While I haven’t personally done a competition prep, I’ve observed that we currently have 8 individuals preparing for competitions in my coaching team, and each of them is on a unique plan tailored to their needs. Some are coming into prep weeks this week, and their approaches include water cutting, carb loading, and certain supplements.

It’s possible you might see a gain of 8kg in peak week or go through a carb-loading phase, and there might be a need for additional supplements. That’s all part of the process that your coach is handling. The best approach is to embrace the journey and trust in the plan they’ve laid out for you.

Cheers There @Dunstone I was just worried last week at weigh in and checking skin folds as everyone has there opinions and my coach hadn't really told me the plan but now knowing what the plan is I've learnt to block out everyone else's opinions and Trust the process my coach has planned out for me.
Going to be interesting as this is my first comp prep and I am learning quite a bit

Blocking out the noise is the right move 100%. First prep is as much about gathering data as it is about getting stage lean. Paying attention to how your body responds week to week. That feedback would be gold for you and your coach and it’s what makes the next prep sharper.

Most definitely i have found it a little easier blocking every thing out and just keep taking one day at a time I still do have some worrying going on as some days there i really feel like I have lost some weight which is bothering me.
my coach really doesn't get involved with my gear that I am taking So I am not to sure if I should be changing it up a little I have dropped the tren for now as I was starting to get some sides with my digestion I was planning on having a tre A mini blast a few weeks prior with 50mg winny every other day also was going to run Tirzepatide for final 6 weeks.
But not really sure how my body will react with these compounds as I haven’t used winny or Tirzepatide before???

Dropping 8 kg under stage weight isn’t typical, but that's just my opinion bro. Most carb loads only swing 1 to 3 kgs depending on how flat you are and how well your body absorbs... 8 kg is mostly water, glycogen and gut content... could be risky for muscle fullness.

It's very normal to be feeling flat and small at this stage cause that’s part of the process. The trick is coming in lean then filling out with carbs, water and sodium manipulation so you look bigger and tighter on stage. Coaches will even do a trial load a few weeks out so there’s no guesswork come peak week.

Trust your coachs plan, but don’t be shy to ask specifics on how he’s structuring the load. Right now.. the number on the scale doesn’t matter as much as the look in the mirror.

With the gear.. introducing compounds you haven’t run before close to stage is a gamble my bro. Everyone reacts differently, especially with digestive sides or blood pressure shifts. Don’t push anything you’re unsure about in the final weeks.

Cheers for the insight @hubbles Im sure im a bit of a pain to my coach as I am always asking questions I was also thinking the same about introducing new compounds I have dropped the Tren as I was starting to see some digestion issues which I usually get after 10wks of micro doses.
I am 1wk into adding injectable winny at 50mg every other day and 40mg crushed Var preworkout daily was planning on running for the next 6wks and may add in tren A 3 wks out but will see how i feel and am looking

Smart calls brother. Winny & var should harden you up fine without overcomplicating things. I’d only bring Tren back in if everything’s locked down with food, digestion, sleep. No point risking last minute issues when you’re this close.

@natzz you should be really proud of the way you're looking brother.

THANKS FOR THE ADVICE @hubbles I am leaning the same way I am already noticing that I am much harder and definitely will be thinking hard about reintroducing the tren if i do it will be a very small amount daily over the final weeks to avoid possible sides.
