Approved Log My Steroid Cycle Log

How’s your strength feeling, any noticeable improvements?
Strength is returning slowly. My left pec had noticeably shrunk and deflated, but it's gradually improving. I'm focusing on isolated exercises to help my pec and tricep catch up. Progress is being made.

Started a new 12 week cycle yesterday...

Test E 300mg
Mast E 400mg
Tren E 400mg
Running Test E lower than Mast and Tren is actually a good strategy. Potentially helps manage sides like water retention and estrogen-related issues. Tren is really potent :) so having a lower Test dose can sometimes help balance things out. Just keep tabs on how you're feeling and tweak if necessary.

How are you getting on with the mast?
So far so good… haven’t felt anything different so far. Early days.

Still trying to get my left pec to catch up to my right. It’s getting there slowly.

I’ve been a bit lazy posting my exercises as they have been a bit all over the place.

This was todays.

Ah sorry my mistake I misread the date on the post about your new cycle. I've been tempted to try mast but worried about the joint side effect, especially with BJJ. Keen to see how you get on.

Is your chest symetry issue from your nerve impingment?

I've been enjoying Mast as part of my cruise, helps keep me vascular. I haven't had any joint issues at all.

I'll keep you posted on how my cycle goes with the increased dosage.

The chest issue I have is really depressing, my pinched nerves had a massive impact on my left side (lat, trap, bicep, tricep and my upper peck) completely deflating my left chest. They say it's because of all the heavy medication I used to manage the nerve pain and the 3+ months off the weights etc. I've just recently started to get back into it and can see that its slowly starting to get back. My strength with chest press, lat pull downs, tricep extensions has literally gone down by 50%.

I'm so sorry to hear that, I know exactly what that's like. I snapped my ACL and was off sport for two years. I lost about 3kg of muscle mass off my legs in the space of a few months, was a very long road back to sport, but 90% the muscle mass came back in about 6 months. Luckily muscle memory is a real thing and as long as your training you'll get your muscle back pretty quick. Bloody depressing and tough mentally, you've also got the added benefits of steroids to help speed it up which I didn't have at the time. Really regret that now.

Muscle atrophy secondary to nerve impingement. So basically, the pinched nerves disrupted the neural signals to the muscles in your left side and without that consistent stimulation the muscles weaken and shrink. Combine that with a few months off training and potentially high doses of pain meds and you’ve got a perfect storm for rapid size and strength loss. Like @ChasetheCase said, muscle memory plays a key role here brother... it'll come back. Keep training 👊

Yep, that's what it's called. It's crazy how you deteriorate.
