Commentary:
Felt good coming into this sesh. Well fed, focussed and relatively empty gym made for a solid workout.
Enjoying the addition of flat DB Press into my chest movements. The underhand lat pull-down is tricky to get the form right, but I’m getting better with it and the stretch at the top is unreal. Few more isolation movements in with back today. Feeling a few things out and want to lock in a solid regime and not fluctuate between various exercises too much.

Rest day for me today. Raining crap weather outside so didn’t go for a walk as originally planned.

Commentary:
Spent the day working from home as young fella was home sick from school. Thankfully I had enough work to keep my busy and prevent me from grazing throughout the day. Stuck to meals as planned and looking forward to training tomorrow.

Today was SUPPOSED to be Lower Body day 😡

Commentary:
What started off as a quiet morning at work quickly escalated with a broken rail (emergency response) about 30km south of town. One thing after another, nothing went to plan, and it ended up taking all day, including eating into my designated gym time this afternoon. Frustrated, but I will make up for it tomorrow so not the end of the world I guess..

Commentary:
Caught on missed session from yesterday. Had some pain in my quad from pinning last night but pushed through and had quite a good session. Dropped the weight slightly on a couple movements and focussed on execution.

Yeah I know 🫣

It’s just so easy and convenient, I don’t get the pain all the time, majority of time it’s all sweet. I struggle with the glutes, always get a fkn stitch from twisting around trying to see what’s going on lol

Training Focus:
Active rest day.

Commentary:
Took the kids to the park and ran around with them for a good while. Got out and about and stayed active for majority of the day, despite wanting to sorts just laze around and do phuk all. Meals all remained on point despite the fam getting some take out burgers/chips etc. Pepsi Max came to the rescue and saved from some craving for something sweet.
1st week down and feeling good. Feel like things have tightened up slightly and I’m excited for what the next few weeks have in store for me, and us all to be honest.
