Log for Monday 10th March

Jumped on the scales 1st thing in the morning. Slight increase in weight from previous week but not concerned. Diet wasn’t 100% last week so I expected some fluctuations..

Was excited to get into the gym this arvo for Upper Body 1 sesh, but just ended up with the shits as it was busy as and whenever I went to use a particular machine etc it was occupied. So it sorta threw me off my game but I worked around as best as possible and still had a solid workout..

Didn’t track the exercises I did that aren’t part of my plan.

Log for Tuesday 11th March (Lower Body 1)

Hot and physically fkn exhausting day at work. Lost track of how many litres of water I drank haha twas well hydrated. 💦💦

Still managed to squeeze meals and snacks in between trains/breaks in work but I had to make a conscious effort to ensure I got it all in..

Bit of fruit and some rice cakes w/Cashew Butter (10g on each) 🤌🏼

Was pretty buggered from work but still got to the gym for lower body session. I wasn’t quite feeling it but I ended having quite a pleasing workout.

Gym was fairly busy, and I had the worst run with equipment as shit was always in use when I needed/wanted to use it.

So went a little off plan and just did what I could. I didn’t log the additional exercises as they’re not part of my tracked plan, but rather do something rather that stand around cooling down waiting for machines..

Todays Log (Upper Body 2)

Woke up feeling and looking leaner, which was pleasing first thing in the morning 😂

Smashed my usual oats/blueberries/whey combo and dumped 20mg Anavar + 4 Defend Caps.

Another hot as phuk day today, welding in the middle of nowhere. Drank that much water haha 💦 💦

Got meals in when I could during short breaks in work.

Tuna/Rice/Beetroot and Beans combo, plus 30mg Anavar + 4 x Defend Caps.

Ended up as a moist mess by the end of the day. Picked the young fella up from OOSH then raced to the gym.

Had an amazing session this arvo. All lifts going up. Intensity was high and I was so focussed. I was really, really pleased with everything I accomplished today. And the pump was juicy 🤌🏼🤌🏼

Swapped out Rear DB Flys for Rear Delt on the Pec Deck today and I’m glad I did. Felt a much better connection and contraction.

Had to rip the singlet off in the dunny and have a look 👀 haha would have been rude not to!

Currently in Week 3 of my first ever cycle and I’m stoked with how my body is responding so far (and no sides either 🙏🏼)

Log for Friday 14th March (Lower Body 2)

Started the day with my Oats/Blueberries/Whey combo! Fantastic first meal that keeps me feeling full for hours..

Normal meals and snacks throughout the day whilst at work (yes I eat the same thing everyday. Boring but easy to manage and track)

Finished work and hit the local Snap Fitness for 2nd lower body workout for the week..

Intensity was high and I had a solid sesh. Increased rest time on compound movement which allowed me to squeeze out a few extra reps over the previous weeks efforts.

Came home to some nice mail from @gearmaniac101 as well 🤌🏼

So far things are tracking well with cycle. Starting Week 4 next week and current dosages will remain the same:

Test E @ 400mg/week
Mast E @ 200mg/week
Anavar @ 50mg/day

Anavar dose split during the day. And pinning twice a week (Mon & Thurs)
 
Log for Monday 17th March (Upper Body 1)

Number on the scales is still fluctuating a little bit, which is kinda frustrating and playing with my head a little 😅🙃

Ensuring I get in at least 10min LISS cardio post workout after every session. But admittedly, I haven’t being doing any extra on rest days. Something I need to start I feel as I don’t want to lower my calories any further. Not that they’re already hell low, I just want to ensure I’m getting as much food as possible.

Had a good session. Wasn’t the best but. Thinking of scrapping incline smith because I’m just not feeling the connection and contraction compared to other movements I could be doing..

Nonetheless, pump was acquired all round and I’m still loving the upper/lower split twice a week.

Log for today Tuesday 18th March (Lower Body 1)

Started the day off a Protein smoothie in my portable bullet (it’s quiter so doesn’t wake the family up, bugger all power though so copped a mouthful of oats at the end lol)

Being transitioned into a new temporary role at work, so my normal work hours are all over the place.

Had to settle for a morning session today and I was not a fan haha. Gym was packed and despite getting some food in prior (5am), come time to train at 6am I still felt a bit flat.

Did a few other exercises out of the norm due to being different gym and machine availability, but nonetheless was still a good session.

Allowed myself some extra rest time and proper warm up sets too.

Been a roller coaster of weight fluctuations lately. Just seem to be fluctuating and floating around that 94-95kg mark.

Whilst I appear to be getting/looking leaner in the mirror, still a bit of a head phuk haha!

Got all my regular meals in no problems today.

50mg Anavar + 8 x Defend Caps split across 2 doses throughout the day. 2 weeks left on the Anavar and then I’ll introduce another compound for the final 6 weeks.. 🫣

Upper Body 2 workout today. Always a big, long sesh but I pushed through and got it done.

Admittedly, I was feeling fair cooked by the end of it.. 🥵

Log for Friday 21st March

Today is normally my day for Lower Body 2 workout. Unfortunately it didn’t happen as I had to take one of my sons to a Soccer coaching clinic about an hour away after work.

I still managed to squeeze in a little sesh at a nearby gym (Thankyou Fitness Passport) but it was more of an instinctual pump sesh more than anything.

Wasn’t breaking any records, but it was a nice change to lower the weight a little and bang out some extra reps compared to the rep ranges I normally work within.

Have been struggling a bit mentally over the last week or so. Probably due to some role changes at work that I’m nervous about, but it’s really affected me more than I thought. Focus and motivation hasn’t been where I’d like it to be and I feel the stress is having an impact on my body as well.

Still sticking to the plan in regards to PEDs and diet, but do feel like my progress have kinda stalled a bit.

Anyway new week coming up, moving into Week 5 of my 12 week cycle. Trying to be patient and trust the process 😅

I’ve been dieting for about 16 weeks or so now. My aim initially was to get down to a half decent BF level before I started my cycle, and tbh I probably haven’t allowed myself enough refeed etc.

Kept on track whilst out in the field through the day while the boys had KFC and Guzman the 🐕s 😂

Arranged to train legs with a young fella from the gym. He’s young but has a solid frame on him, mad legs and excellent work ethic for training..

So, session was far from my normal as I let him take the reins. It was heavy and hard, and was good to have a spotter and someone to keep pushing you for those few extra reps..

Front Smith Squat
Ended up with 80kg on the bar. I had never really done front squats before but they felt surprisingly good 🤪

Leg Press
Worked our way up to working sets of around 15reps @ 200kg. Then for some stupid reason we decided to do a massive drop set, starting at 200kg for 10 reps, then removing a plate each side for each drop with another 10 reps until all plates were off. I was busted up 😂

Did some lying leg curls and leg extensions, hitting failure around 10 reps on each exercise for 2 working sets.

Finished off with some calf raises and 10min on the treadmill to warm down.

Was a hectic workout but felt good at the same time!

Had my usual coffee in the morning at work (used to drink heaps, now I’ve reduced to just one a day)..

Day in the office today so was able to treat myself to a hot meal for a change 😂

Downed a protein shake about an hour or so Pre workout along with 30mg Anavar + 4 x Defend Caps.

2 scoops of Pump Juice 🧃 pre workout and off I went to Snap Fitness for my Upper Body 1 sesh.

Gym was fkn packed. Couldn’t use certain equipment at the times I wanted/needed to so just powered on a worked with what I had.

So as such, I didn’t track majority of my lifts due to not being part of my normal plan..

Tbh it’s been hard to tell what’s doing what as it’s my first ever cycle running other compounds other than standalone Test. I haven’t experienced any sides and I still appear to be retaining muscle and looking full, whilst gradually getting leaner
 
Log for Thursday 27th March

Probably my poorest and saddest log lol.

Had a bad night sleep prior (just stayed up too late considering early start for work). Felt tired and flat all day, on top of a higher amount of stress taking on a new job role at work.

I nearly didn’t go to the gym, but I dragged myself in there and had a half assed attempt at my Lower Body 2 workout plan.

I just couldn’t get my mind off work and into the game.

I did what I could, some machines weren’t available when I needed them so I just continued on. Didn’t break any records or tbh really push myself that hard. Overall was pretty disappointed with myself but accepted it for what it was hoping tomorrow will be better…

Otherwise my cycle is going well!
Still running 50mg Anavar per day split into 2 doses supported by Defend caps. Anavar will wrap up end of next week (Week 6).

2nd pin for the week today, still on 200mg Test E & 100mg Mast E per pin. Results have been good and sides are nowhere to be seen 🫶🏼

Just remember that rest days are just as important. Your body needs time to recover and grow... and your mind and nervous system need a break too.

Thanks bro! My rest days (physical) are pretty good nowadays, I rest Wed/Sat/Sun. Just the mind that’s been in overdrive lol.

Log for Friday 28th March (Upper Body 2)

Day off work today. Nice to spend some quality time at home with Mrs and kids for a change rather than being flat out.

Started the day off with Blueberry Protein Smoothie 👌🏽

70g Quick Oats, 50g Frozen Blueberries, 2 Scoops Whey, 20g Anavar + 4 Defend caps

Mrs wanted to head out for a pub lunch at the local Tavern. Was difficult but instead of getting the standard snitty, I opted for the Grilled Chicken + Salad wrap (ok and maybe a couple of chips 🤫), daughter had the majority + can of Pepsi Max.

Had a pretty good sesh. Head was in a much better place so I felt 1000x better in the gym.

Hit some rear delts on this monstrosity. I mean it hit the muscle ok, but it just felt whack and the seat didn’t go low enough..
