Approved Log My Training Log - First Cycle Log

Was planning to push through the Christmas period without a break but gastro just before Christmas said no. After a week off I was super stoked to be back in the gym, even if I did manage to pull something in my chest, hopefully it'll be all good by chest day no. 2.
At least recovering from gastro meant I didn't gorge myself on Christmas food. XD

Gastro is the worst ... it's one of those sickness that make you wanna die.

Nah both kids had it to, little buggers shared it with me. The wife somehow managed to miss it despite cleaning up after the 3 of us.
 
At the gym on New Year's Day, not because of any bullshit new years resolutions but because it's back and chest day. No #newyearnewme. Same me, same consistency. I won't stop until I'm dead. 🦾🦾

Well today's gym session absolutely sucked. Did something to my right lat last week or over the weekend and it ****ing hurts, could barely even lie down on the bench, hurt to lie facedown on the leg curl machine and by the end of it hurt to take a deep breath. Gunna hope some ibuprofen and an Epsom salt helps.

No good brother. Hope it's nothing serious. Rest it and if the pharmacy meds don't work, best to see a GP.

Don't let this get you down. I would rest the upper and concentrate on your legs.
 
Back was an improvement today, still hurts but less. Managed to comfortably get through today's workout without lowering any weights.
Tomorrow is back day so will see how I go there.

Yesterday and today, pushing through whilst monitoring the pain areas. Seems to actually be chest I think, maybe a bruised rib? Only affected flat bench press on Wednesday.

Another week down and I'm absolutely cooked. Looking forward to my couple of rest days before I do it all again.
