Log #8

On the menu for the next 4 days: BBQ chicken drumsticks, roasted red sweet potatoes, and chicken breast steaks (forgot to grab a pic of the breast steaks, but I’ll add that later if I don’t forget 😂).
All of this is from Aldi’s Ready Set Cook line.
I did burn the drumsticks a little, but honestly I don’t mind.

Macros (per day, without breakfast):
  • Protein: ~100g
  • Calories: ~1300
Breakfast is usually just a cup of coffee and a Greek yogurt bowl, so total comes out to about 1700 cals with 120–140g protein.

Yea i've been fairly strict with my calories, i only eat what i cook plus my coffee so i calculate my macros when i cook and follow that meal plan. I will say that i fell off for a lil more than a week because i had a really hectic week from uni 2 assignments and a test.

I've been taking anavar for like a week and a half now, definitely feel more pumped even when im not working out which is cool and my intensity in the gym's gone up significantly i feel like im able to push it alot closer to failure than before but i think that might just be a placebo effect. I've also moved up to 40mg per day.
I've been following the same workout as last time didnt really make any swaps this time.

Anavar Update: I feel absolutely amazing, my workouts are fantastic i'm able to train further into failure and more vascular im doing absolutely fantastic im not getting pretty much any side's my lipids are a different thing i guess ill have to run my bloods im thinking ill run bloods in the middle if i feel a bit off orelse ill run it at the end.
Training Update: I've ran everthing as usual but ive been throwing in forearms aswell and i took out the SLDL's because i feel like the volume isnt worth it as it just tires me out further. Last workout i overtrained a little too much or it was something i ate but i was nauseous past gym and ended up getting a migraine.

The migraine kinda turned into a row of migraines that ive been suffering from, the past few days im not particularly sure what happened i dont think this is due to the anavar im suspect that it might be due to the harsh calorie deficit (i think its the deficit mostly cuz the migraines after the first big one went away after i ate). im upping the calorie for a bit maybe a week or two i added in a breakfast to the diet im upto around 2000 kcal maybe js under my maintenance. The breakfast is just oats that ive added in 1-2 hour's pre-workout thought might aswell take the extra calories into carbs for the workout. If the trend of the migraines continues might stop taking the anavar and see if that helps. It's been a really rough last few days as migraines hit me particularly hard as its a thing ive suffered with since ive been a kid.

Anavar Update: I've got nothing but positive things to say about the anavar i feel better my workouts feel better i absolutely love it. Muscle fullness and hardness are absurd and the strength is a amazing plus i can physically push alot further in my workouts i feel and i cant attribute it to placebo effect aswell its an absurd feeling.

The migraines and everything has already passed, I've been back to working out already ive got exams just around the corner so its been hectic and my nutritions kinda died a little bit didnt hit protein goals for a couple days here and there and probably completely unrelated but my sleep's gone to hell i can barely fall asleep ive mostly just been passing out after it gets too late but i am still getting my 7-8 hours so i reckon itll be fine. I've swapped about alot of my training so ill post my new exercise selection here.

Meal Prep: I've switched from the aldis BBQ chicken legs to the aldis kebabs because honestly it tastes leagues better and the chicken legs were getting old.

TLDR: all exercises are for 2 sets till failure.

I've swapped from presses mostly because it feels better for me personally.

Upper Back Row

Cardio:
Stairmaster
30min Walk's Outdoors (Mostly because i like walking around where i live the weather's fantastic)
The walks on rest days and the stairmaster is directly post workout.
 
Main thing is to stay consistent with it all. Progress will happen 100%
Thanks lad im trying my best but its getting significantly worse now getting rougher and rougher, but **** can i do im just gonna power through it.
luckily not getting that many sides from var.
