How do you pass the haemoglobin check? I went in a few weeks ago and they politely kicked me out 😂
Did you tell them you are on testosterone?

I always have my bloodwork and letter from clinic

Just say you are on testosterone which is scripted they have never asked for my dr letter but love reviewing my bloodwork and always have a chat about it
I usually get therapeutic phlebotomy through my GP when my levels get too high, but it costs a bit out of pocket. Thought I’d give the Red Cross another shot. After the haemoglobin check came back high the nurse was already onto it just by looking at me 😂 then she asked why it was so high, so I told her I was on TRT. Yeah… they didn’t want a bar of it.

Thats so odd, my first time they called a doctor on the phone who asked me to email my latest bloods and we talked on phone for ages

They put notes in the system about my medication and has been ok since

Extremely proud of myself hitting 4 plates only for 3 reps.

At start of this comp my max was 80kg and struggled with form and bracing. With guidance from forum members and some random instagram followers

I have doubled my maximum in 10weeks

Good to see your pushing yourself. My knees would snap if I did that :ROFLMAO:
 
My week has been a little all over the place so haven't really been able to give a massive amount of attention to this blog sadly however I was able to still train and push myself hard in the gym

we have had high school musical for 3 days of the school week with my eldest getting to school at 8am and not home till 10pm these nights so to say the least we are all a little bit worn out.

As a family we decide to have a Sunday home day and skip church so I got a 4am leg sesh in - have been trying to hit my legs Wednesday and Saturday or Sunday each week to try and get them to grow.

Got a little carried away with myself and pushed to get another PR on the Hack squat loading up 180kg and attempting this as my working set with a little bit of disappointment.

Anyway boys am unsure if this week will be any better with a trip to Gold coast at end of the week planned. but lets see if I can get back in to the roll of giving you some good updates and posts!
 
Better to have failed then not have tried. I always find it more motivating after you beat your failed attempt a few weeks later. It’s that definite feeling of I couldn’t do it and now I can. Obviously higher risk doing this regularly but I think it’s a good thing every now and then.

Happy i managed 1 rep being at the start of this comp my 1 rep Max was 80kg

I just really would have liked to get the 2nd one up

But is better to have tried and fail than never to have tried.
