Approved Log My Training Log - First Cycle Log

If I'm honest I think I have a pretty good balance at the moment weight is going down and I don't seem to dropping strength or losing muscle. Can't help but think it'd be more efficient to cut harder or bulk for a bit. But cutting hard is miserable and I don't wanna bulk cause still as chubby enough as it is.
Just gotta keep reminding myself of my goals and to stay on target.
1. Nice leanish 20% bf
2. Enjoy nice clean lean gains at maintenance
If you're not in a rush then there's no need to cut harder and feel miserable. Just stay consistent and over time you'll lean out while keeping size. The key is patience and trusting the process.

Morning workouts this week, can't say I'm a fan, but at least I didn't let the excuse get me skipping.

The tracking here is awesome. Keep in mind not to stay in a deficit for too long. It can mess with your energy, metabolism and even muscle retention. Mixing in some maintenance or re-feed days can keep things balanced and gains on track ;)
You're probably right but I'm determined to see it through til I hit 20% bf. We'll see how that goes.
On fantastic news finally ordered the gear for my cycle. Maybe I'll eat at maintenance whilst that kicks in.

Weights were heavier than normal today, I blame last week's cold. Though I've had lots of energy this week til today.

Got my first bloods back. Trying to go through them see whats good what's bad. Gunna be googling all night. Any tips or notes?

I've taken a look at your results and you’re right. Your total and free testosterone levels are on the lower side which will affect energy, mood, and muscle gains. HDL cholesterol's a bit low, this is crucial for heart health and your LDL's on the higher end. Creatinine and urea are slightly elevated too.

I'd suggest adding some omega-3s, staying well-hydrated and watch your alcohol intake if it's high. I'd also consider TRT, even a low dose. Just keep in mind that it's a lifelong commitment.

Glad I saw the same, I've bumped up my omega-3 supplements and am considering actually eating some fish. No alcohol, but I do smash the sugar free softdrinks, not quite the same but I probably need to up my water intake.

Pretty conflicted on the Test front, the roidsafe dr I had a chat with strongly suggested reccomended going down the official TRT route with my local GP (booked an appointment but it's weeks away), however, I have my first cycle of test in the mail. Now I'm not sure if I should hold off on that and investigate TRT or continue with my cycle as planned. Getting recommendations from both fronts, TRT might phone in a low dose, or not pescribe me anything (don't have most of the main symptoms, but tick the boxes for a bunch that I've always just lived with for as long as I remember), but also might be all I need to push through this last bit of bodyfat. but then, I've already got the test on the way, might as well use it? likely have a stronger effect than any TRT, then if cycle all goes well, see where my test sits after PCT? Investigate TRT for the long term then?

It's a tough call to make but if you've waited this long, might as well wait a little longer and see the GP. If you can score the prescription, you're cheering. Then it's all about managing your dosages/duration in between bloodwork. As prescriptions are usually based around that, alot of guys here do this already. That's what I'd do.

On the flip side, if it doesn't workout, at least there's no regrets. Run your first proper cycle. It'll be a good way to test how your body responds to elevated testosterone. You’ll likely feel better, drop some fat, gain muscle and it can help confirm if low T was part of the issue. Then post-cycle you do a PCT, let your natural test rebound and then check bloods again.

If you're leaning toward TRT as a long-term fix then no need for PCT.
