Approved Log My Training Log - Another old man trying to live life as a young man

Have a very slight nausea/stomach feeling so will keep at 1.5mg for another week or two. I know the levels haven't stabilised yet so I'm still building up. Once that feeling goes away I'll work up to 2mg. My idea was to hit the magic sweet spot of effectiveness at 4mg, but will stay lower if it's still working and I'm slowing losing fat.
Is the nausea constant or only after you inject?

@Fletch Elliot I think the true fat loss is probably between 0.5-1kg. I'm trying to keep my defecit around 200-300 cal a day.

I've been reading more on glycogen and water loss, I likely have ~400–600g of glycogen and each gram binds ~3–4 g water, which means 1.5–2.5 kg scale loss when my training stopped and carbs reduced. I'm still likely seeing this in the chart.

I'll know for sure after a couple of weeks training what the real change is.

I saw a similar loss at the end of my bulk, dropped 2 kgs very quickly. Should be a nice steady drop in BF% from here....you'll be looking great come holiday time!

Thanks @Fletch Elliot that's certainly the plan, at least I'll be in better shape, prob not ripped like I was wanting. That'll come.

Well still training around my AC joint, skipped lat pull downs and swapped out conventional deadlifts for trapbar variation. Have decided to give BPC 157 and TB 500 a try, hopefully will have that next week and see how it goes.

Great to finally be back on the adductor machine, really need it to help with my range of motion, just took a long time to get over straining it.

Need to get working on my abs, my decline crunches were almost half the volume as last time.

Well not a great start to the day, just got a puncture and will likely be spending my day trying to sort out a new tyre, collection, drop off or pick up etc.

Was really looking forwards to today's session, highly unlikely now.

So much for the tyre sealant, looks like scrapnel!

Totally. Recovery truck couldn't make it in the car park, so had to take it the lift at work, that caused some odd faces. Just waiting around now hoping the garage can fix it today. Fingers crossed.

Well today is day 2 of looking after the kids. Luckily I’ve only got a week then they’re in after school for the rest of the holiday.

I really thought I’d easily still got my gym sessions in, but in between making their food constantly trying to tidy up after them and be their chauffeur with their activities it’s been impossible.

This morning I weighed myself and I’ve been the lightest I’ve been for a year, 7 day average of 84.1kg. Getting a bit scary with the missed training as it’s another week delay now until I can get consistent training back to get my glycogen and water weight back to see my real weight loss. And have just started to see my abs without having to tense.

Will go up to 2mg of Reta this week, and although I was planning to go up to 4mg for the best efficiencies with the other agonists I don’t think I need to.

Day 4 of being a single dad.

Weight still dropping. Average of 83.7kg today. Started at 87.06kg and now four weeks in have lost 3.36kg. Went up to 2mg Reta today, going to stick to this I think. Still tempted to try 4. From what I’ve read the appetite suppressant isn’t that much difference but it’s the perfect sweet spot for the other two agonists. But the benefit of staying lower if it’s working is that the Reta will last longer.

I just really need to sort my training out now. There’s no reason I can’t get up at 5 and train before my wife leaves. But looking after the kids is really draining me and the lack of ALL training has really demotivated me.

Kids are at school care most of next week and I’ll be back in the office so normal gym training will start again. As for my other sports no idea what that’s going to look like until the wife has settled in to her new job. At least financially we can start to recover now that was getting really stressful.

I know how that feels. I remember about a year ago, I had this happen to me twice over the course of a month.

Finally. Back to normal gym training. I realised today I’ve obviously got depression, I’ve been finding everything hard and feeling pretty lethargic the last few weeks. Put this down to just being in a calorie deficit. However after my first MMA session in almost three months I realised driving to work that I felt alive. I’ve been in combat sports on and off most of my life but it really sank in obviously why I’m drawn to it. It keeps me going. I went through this when my ACL snapped but didn’t realise it was depression. I’m glad I’ve recognised this and that I’m training again.

Weight is still sitting around the same. Strength is pretty similar so I’m hoping the large drop in weight is water, glycogen and less gut weight.

All good in the gym, felt great to get back under the bar. Still working around my AC joint issue. Hoping the Wolverine stack helps.

Awesome that you've got something that gives you that drive 💪

Weight is still dropping, good to see it increase after yesterday's training, still a bit worried I've lost muscle. Patience, patience, patience.
I was consistently in a defecit of 200-300 cal, however I've had a few days where I've just forgot to eat. Never thought that would be an issue. Keeping my protein high, this and the fact that I'm on 200mg test a week makes me hopeful I'm not losing too much muscle. Good news strength hasn't really be affected much.

5am MMA session, found myself in the worst position ever getting repeatedly punched in the face whilst stuck against the wall. One of the few times I wonder why I’m doing this and am I too old. Luckily left the gym feeling great. Hoping the wife isn’t going to threaten to cut my balls off if I go to BJJ tonight.

Almost the same workout as Monday. Slight increase with my squats. Going to take a while to get back to a 180kg 1rm. That’s when I plan to start my next bulk.

Slowly upping the weight on my tiny calves. Still not pushing my chest and avoiding deads and overhead press due to my AC. Hoping the peptides help with this.

I’m considering taking Deca at 100mg a week to help with my joints, would probably help mitigate any possible muscle loss on this cut too. Wondering if I’d get any recomp whilst on it at those levels?

Eating this is feeling like a marathon. I’m very happy I’m getting pretty good affect from only 2mg Reta.
