Approved Log TrennButt’s Competition log

Phuk bro quite the extensive detailed list there! Sound like you know what you’re doing. Definitely gonna look into a few of the support supps you’ve mentioned
Haha took me about an hour to write it all up. Been having daily progress. Gaining size and getting leaner. Scale was close to 91kgs today. 😁

Last workout for this deload week. Back to war next week 💪

Photo was taken at the start of the workout right after stretching. Hit chest, shoulders and tris today. 2-3 exercises per body part being 1-2 sets each. Light weight 12 reps, No failure sets nothing straining.

I aim for a de load week every 6-8 weeks or more frequent if needed. My usual training is extreme pushing every set till failure and doing some eccentrics to really kill the muscle. Very taxing on the CNS ( Central nervous system) and with the extra strain for the PEDs the rest / deload week is needed for me.

Looking sharp brother in the gym kit! When you mention De-load week (as a new gym guy) how does this change your workouts? and what are the benefits?

appreciate it brother thank you.

De-load week is used pretty much when you feel burnt out to go to the gym. When you’ve had a big week at work or just feeling over trained from weeks of bashing yourself in the gym.

You can take a week off to recover and then come in stronger or just go in to the gym and workout for fun. Just go through the movements. Light weight, low volume and low intensity. Pretty much workout for fun. This gives your body the time it needs to recover and reduces inflammation in the muscles.

Generally you’ll always look better on a De-load week. You can keep the diet the same as usual but i usually just allow myself to eat anything during the de-load week. Macros arnt a big issue for me during this week but total calories are. As long as you’re not blowing your total calories all is well.

I’ll attach a photo of what I ate today for example. It’s not much food but it was enough for the day and a few treats 😁

Sunday Rest day
Fewer calories in today since it’s a rest day. Skipped the 1400 calories around training shakes.

Food was not weighed but went of portion sizes on the lose-it app.

Macros for the day was:
P: 170g
C: 242g
F: 91g

Fell short on my 200g protein goal but got close enough for the day. Was in the go all day hence food is take away choosing healthier options. No hot chips / drinks. Only had water and sparkling water today.
