Ok, how many old school blokes/ladies do we have on here. I have noticed quite a few old boys that competed way back seem to be making comebacks, I’m one of them 😂
I’ll start, I last competed in 2004 when I won the masters IFBB Australian. I competed 17 times during my competitive career. Yes, I won masters 20 years ago, and here I am again. I just turned 63 and am planning on competing next year ( it was to be this year but I tore my left tricep off the bone, at work) so that was 7 months I couldn’t train upper body pretty well.
You don’t have to be competing, just interested how many over say 40 we have here, still training and living the lifestyle.

I'm 54 never competed, Been training for 40 years, I started weights at 14, I could have stepped on stage but it never happened, my sister was an overseas champion 🏆

As someone who is 21 and wants to begin competing in 2-3 years can someone please make a thread discussing past competing experiences? I'd love to hear all about what prep was like and if you enjoyed it etc

I'll look into it when I've got time. Just quickly though, I enjoyed competing, sometimes I struggled with the diet, but pushed through. I used to like going to the nationals, travelling as a team, I made lifelong friends on those trips.

Just for reference this is 63, getting back to where I was before my tricep tendon rupture.

Yeh I'm 49 but never competed. Started training at 15 and then weighed 60 kg at 188 cm tall. Currently 110 kg and still training. Been cycling steroids since 17 and have been on try for 11 years now. Take 200mg of test E per week and 2.5 ius of HGH per day. Still cycle steroids but don't go over 1000 mgs total per week when cycling. I hope there comes a time when I can just stick to my 200 mg of test and 2 ius of HGH but I never do. Need to start thinking of my health some time in my life.

I'm 54, been training since I was 14 years old, the one thing I never did is put PED for First, main priority till today is training and eating etc PEDS is secondary, like the cherry on the top so to speak, I remember many mates would not train without gear, not me gear or no gear I'm at the gym every Day, gym eat sleep repeat,
