Log for 21st May (Lower)

Been smashed with flooding here. Stuck at home trying to work getting hassled by small children lol.

Thankfully local little gym is accessible to managed to squeeze in a lower body sesh plus some arms for good measure!

Focussed on deep stretch on the leg with full ROM. Had to back the weight off but felt a lot more engagement in the quads and very stable through the press.

Log for Thurs 22nd May (Upper)

A pretty short and sweet session this one.
Between trying to work from home, dealing with work (rail) issues and coordinating flood repairs and resources, I was mentally exhausted.

I didn’t have a lot of time but just had to get outta the house for a bit and reset.

Wasn’t my best workout, mind was elsewhere and I felt I hadn’t fully recovered from my first upper session earlier in the week.

Diet hasn’t been the best being stuck at home, not going to work really throws my whole routine out, and I found myself just grazing at home eating more than I normally would.

Anyway I banged out a few sets, released some tension and moved on with it lol.

Log for Tuesday 27th May (Upper)

Been quite a disruptive 2 weeks or so lately, lot of time away from home for work, floods, inconsistencies with gym and diet, killing me lol. I can’t wait to get back to routine and thankfully it should all fall back into place in line with the upcoming challenge and I can’t wait!! Keen to see what I can achieve! 🤌🏼

Hit up a Snap Fitness whilst away for work, always find it difficult to have a good session in unfamiliar gyms but ended up not being too bad!

Lighting in the toilet was quite good so would have been rude not to…

Don't stress too much bro, life happens. You still been showing up when you can. Once the comp kicks off, it’ll tighten everything up and get you dialled back in quick.

Log for Monday 13th October.

Following the transformation challenge I went overseas for 3 weeks to the Philippines. Ate some weird street food (would not recommend), drank and ate lots and didnt train the whole time (killed me). However it was good to relax and give the body a bit of a break.

Back into routine name and I’m taking a slight step back in weight, being more particular with exercise selection and focusing more on form and execution. Felt weak after not training for a while but body feels good.

Jumped on the scales this morning and was surprised I hadn’t put on more weight lol. Happy days!

Dropped back to a 200mg/wk cruise on @gearmaniac101 Test E for the next few months.

Going to or close to failure, 2 working sets per exercise. Focus on frequency over volume

Good to see you back at it bro. That break probably did you more good than harm. Nervous system and joints would have had a nice reset. Don't stress about the strength.. it'll come back quick once the routines locked in again.

Thanks bro. Yeah break was needed.

Log - Tuesday 14th October

Meals have returned back to my staples, just a slight variance in carbs and playing around with meal timing a little bit.

Typically I’ll be fasting up until around 11am, after having my last meal around 7pm the night before. Got a little soft after my holidays to just trying to tighten back up and then maintain for a few months until I go into a growth phase (hopefully lol).

Foods are kept pretty simple. Tuna, rice, greens, oats, chicken breast, fruit etc. adding in some protein powder here and there for convenience more than anything.

After no pins for 3 weeks whilst overseas I definitely feel my levels have dropped, looking forward to them getting back up a bit and stabilising. Will book bloods in soon too.

Work has been full on since my return, and causing a lot of stress. Trying to manage it as best as possible.

With that said, involuntary rest day today as I had all intentions of hitting the gym, but simply was too busy at work and had no time.

But here’s a pic from yesterdays session 😘

I think we all had that, the transition after a few weeks off :sneaky: always feels a bit rough till the hormones level out again. You’ll probably notice a big difference once your test stabilises and it all starts clicking again. The bloods will show exactly where you’re sitting (y)

Log for Wednesday 15th October

Another long stressful day at work today. Nearly skipped the gym altogether due to time constraints (was supposed to be legs + arms) but I managed to squeeze in at least an arm sesh. Yes I kinda *****ed it on the legs sesh, but I genuinely didn’t have enough haha.

Hoping things settle down in the coming weeks and I get back into proper routine.

Nonetheless still had a decent arm sesh. Good to feel some blood flow again 🍆

Log for Saturday 18th October

My middle son recently turned 12 and he’s been itching to start going to the gym. He plays soccer at a high level and wants to build his leg strength so took him through a bit of an intro the leg training.

My 2nd oldest (15) has also started going to the gym regularly and it makes me so happy that they both have a genuine interest in training.

So took them both into the gym whilst I had a half ****d leg session (be kind, I haven’t trained legs in about 4 weeks so just easing back into it). I’m trying to narrow down my exercise selection also moving forward so I can focus on progression rather than throwing in random ad hoc exercises.

Also, received my AGW shirt which is so light and comfy to train in, plus plenty of room to grow 😎
