BJJ is what I love mostWednesday 29/01/2025 & Thursday 30/01/2025
Yesterday I basically flung out the bed in the morning to get an early chest and tri’s session in. Coming off the back of an absolutely shit house previous few days just in life in general I just wanted to get the hell out of the house and take my mind off things and the gym was just the place for that.
Smashed the living daylights out of my chest and finished with some triceps and of course I snuck in a few sets of curls because why not
I’ll be laying off the weights till Sunday as I’ll be doing some intense BJJ tomorrow and Saturday so I want to make sure I have proper rest to finish the week strong!

Generally I find DBs to be the worst things in the gym when it comes to actually getting a stretch because of the nature of free weights - it allows you to lose your form and bring in other muscles to help you lift that weight which means you aren’t properly isolating the muscle you intended to train. The only reason I ever use them is for enjoyment. There is something fun and badass about swinging some heavy DBs aroundSee you did chest, this is something I have been trying to work more
You do dumbell incline, is this just a personal preference over barbell? Or are you finding better stretch or controll using them over a bar?
