Approved Log My Competition Log - SpoonT

Today's been hectic, not a fan, started with my drink bottle leaking through my bag and all my gym shit getting soaked (thankfully not the clothes), then shit went sideways at work right when I had just downed my preworkout. However still made it to the gym as I was not dead or dying I had no excuse.

Kinda wish I'd realized this more than 2 weeks before the end of the comp but I was doing research on gear and stuff and I've realized I've only been doing half the 500mg of the "beginners bulk". I dunno where or what I misread but I definitely thought I was 😅
So now I'm thinking, I'm at about 12 weeks of taking more than just TRT, I fully intend to just go back to that after 20 weeks, after that I'm not sure yet, my big goal is lean and strong, once I hit that I dunno what's next yet. But in the meantime I'm leaving gains on the table and I can't have that, though I've made awesome progress, why not make more? Will this be my only proper cycle? Will I just blast and cruise until I die? No idea yet, but for now, I've been needing to mix up the diet anyway, so I think I'm gonna chuck in the extra 250mg as I move into a lean bulk. It probably won't change anything soon enough for the rest of this comp, but this comp is simply a great motivator and I have no intention of stopping when it's over and I don't think I'm quite ready to slow down yet. Thoughts?

Yep adding the extra 250 now will give a small boost but don’t expect it to change much before the comp ends. After that go back to the full 500mg for your lean bulk and focus on diet and training and let the Test do its thing.

Yea I figure it can't really hurt, I'm only dabbling so far, may as well jump all the way in.

Food is sitting at an interesting point at the moment; stress levels are higher than they've ever been (mostly because I've never really had a stressful job), it's all just getting used to this new job but it's definitely throwing me around a bit. I am mostly sticking to the regime just with a little bit of added chocolate. Not too worried and not gunna make a big deal about it as long as I don't have many/any deals of a complete blow out.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you get on top of the stress levels quickly, the good news is you're doing all the right things health wise for the best success in either overcoming or managing it.

Yea for sure. Gotta learn some new methods for dealing with stress. Though I'm hoping it will die down a bit as I settle into this new job, a lot of the stress is me trying to learn so much stuff and not be useless even though I'm only a couple of weeks in.

Workplace stress can be quite overwhelming, and it varies greatly depending on your industry. It's important to remember that you're not alone in feeling this way. Change can be really difficult for many of us, as our minds tend to resist it. If you're struggling, reaching out for support can make a big difference. It's okay to ask for help; everyone needs a little extra support now and then.

Still just TRT ATM?

This seems odd to most people I know, but for me, the best thing for stress and my mental health is actually BJJ/Muay Thai etc. It completely clears my mind and the only thing I am focused on is the what I'm doing in that exact moment.

You're exactly right, I'm super grateful I've got a good support network and system, so I know I'll get through it.
Technically not TRT, 250mg a week.

Absolutely! I got a bit of that when I dabbled in Karate, but that was mostly a father/son activity and when he didn't want to any more I dropped it as well. I do however really want to get back into some kind of combat sport, it fascinates me so much more now that I'm getting fit. Kickboxing or boxing or something maybe, I dunno, it's hard to find where I'd fit it in time/money wise and I really want one of my mates to do it with me, or to join them.

Ho boy! The day is saying, halfway through my workout get a reminder for a meeting scheduled immediately after gym time across the city. So I finished my workout and got a nice post workout power walk across the city. 😅
I'm cooked already and I'm working overtime tonight.
At least I'll sleep well?
