First Proper Cycle after long term TRT & worried

Ok here it goes, 43 year old and 4-5 years ago I decided that the potential benefits of TRT might be worth a try, given age and body composition. I was training 3 days per week with an ordinary diet due to corporate career pressures. So I started on test -e and generally ran 0.5ml per week for most of that period & was only 1 injection per week, for some months I would switch to SUS250 based on supply and using logic of balanced out ether delivery. Occasionally on Holidays or for weekends away with wife I would bump to 0.75-1ml to boost the effect, & again seemed to work great.

I found that my life overall improved significantly, with better sleep, better composition for little training with a shit diet, and even work performance doing presentations to 200+ audience I found to be more confident and overall better performer at work and held more masculine emotions which resulted in better leadership. I probably had 3 PCT's though this period just to check my natural system could recover, with only real side effect was lower *** drive for 4-5weeks.

I have since moved jobs to where I now able to access a gym every morning, so I made the decision to try an actual cycle, also working out that nexus, forum sponsor was a genuine reliable source after getting ****ed over by auspharm sites a few times.

So this is what i have done thus far.

(Week 1 - Week 5) 0.5ml TrenA & 0.75ml of sus250 twice per week with 40mg of Anavar daily: Was a fantastic response and fat loss strength gains were all great with a good diet. the tren night sweats & a little insomnia were a bit shitty and I found i struggled to with hydration even with an office job pushing 4-5 litres a day. keeping urine colour clear was a battle.

(Week 6 - Week 8) 1ml of sus250 twice per week: Currently @ week 8. Dropped the tren off as started experiencing sore nipples and shitty sleep was making me cranky & my wife found a small lump under nipple of my left breast. after reading on here I started using some AI as never had experienced this on TRT levels, used some arimadex I had and now on letrezol as didn't trust the AuSpharm product. The nipple soreness went away within days but lump hasn't.

I have noticed lump seems to be a little smaller right before the next injection so feel like its hormone related. I'm scared shitless of gyno but I know my dosages aren't that high, but hoping i can reverse this, and strange only left side. The other thing is night sweats are still bad and because I'm still wrestling with hydration I'm up pissing 3-4 times a night. I've had to start using magnesium tablets as cramps have been bad probably because I'm jamming so much water in & unbalancing the salts. Waking up with dry mouth most mornings.

Last confession is I usually have 3-4 beers per evening & on weekends prob 8-10 per day. I'm booked in next week for my yearly check up & blood test for kidney liver function etc which has been perfect to date.

So appreciate any advice anyone can send my way, thankyou!!!!

Hey mate, TRT clearly worked for you, giving you those life improvements. But jumping into Tren wasn't the best move for a first real cycle after TRT. Tren’s notorious for its harsh sides which you’re experiencing firsthand with night sweats, insomnia, and nipple issues. Gains are great but the sides, not everyone likes. I think it would be best to get a few more cycles under your belt before running tren again. Dropping it was a smart move but for future cycles consider starting with something more manageable. Anavar on the other hand is fine as it's quite mild.

Just another thing to keep in mind with the Tren A. It should be dosed more frequently due to its short half-life. Instead of 0.5ml twice a week, you should have injected 0.25ml every other day EOD to keep your hormone levels stable and reduce side effects. This means Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, and so on. This helps maintain consistent blood levels and minimises spikes that can cause those Tren sides.

For the gyno, jumping on Arimidex and then Letrozole was a good move as well given the circumstances, but Letrozole is potent stuff. Maybe dial it back with Aromasin, which is easier to control. Adding Nolvadex can speed up shrinking that lump. Keep monitoring it as these things take time to reverse so consistency is key. Just need patience for the lump to go down. But it will go down.

About the beers, gotta be real with you mate. Cutting down is crucial. Alcohol’s stressing your liver, especially with orals like Anavar in your stack. It’s negatively impacting your sleep and hydration, two things you’re already wrestling with.

Your yearly check-up is good practice. Ensure they check liver and kidney functions, hormone levels like testosterone, estradiol, and prolactin. It'll give you a broader picture of where you stand. Make sure you’re running some liver support like TUDCA, NAC, or even milk thistle, especially with Anavar in your stack.

You’re doing great by staying proactive and tweaking things as needed. Unfortunately, most people don't. Going forward, consider a more gradual approach with cycles, starting with less aggressive compounds. (y)

I've never taken Tren A but have heard and read that generally you should inject eod. I can't speak about the actual dosages. I agree with @musclemaniac with not doing Tren as a first cycle but it's done now and you've survived :) . I wouldn't be too worried about the gyno as long as you look after it disappears after your cycle ends. I always get it each time I'm on Tren E. Nolva does the trick for me.

Did you like the Tren? Apart from the sides.

Thankyou @musclemaniac I appreciate the advice given & thankyou for liver support options. Thankyou for the AI advice as thats what i was really looking for with regards to lump reduction which is what is stessing me. once i can control the lump & AI management i can start working on more realistic dosages going forward. You mention letrozole being harsch, would sides would you expect if that was the case?

Yes i know the beers are not good... a bad habbit i need to drop but figured lots of guys especially single ones must drink at similar or higher levels like this and manage it?

@Skays yes ive since leaned that tren prob best suited for serious/competition guys due to its potency. My injection regime was to test it out at mininmal leves and i think it worked, it was just waking up with very bad sweats and frequet toiltet breaks that made me stop.

I can say i was a fat office sloth @ 112kg and with 5 days a week gym, within the week 1 to 5 that my fat dissapeard and i hit close to my peak strength limits from my 20's etc @ 5 weeks, after 12 months of doing nothing but heavy drinking and takeaway. I can conclude that my body reacted really well to anavar, which i think with the good diet I was able to achieve MON-FRI, really pulled that fat away.

Was curious that i dont see much support for sus250 in cycles on this forum, is this something i should reconsider and run straight test-e??

Both Test E and Sus will give you the same result cause test is test, but most people prefer Test E for its simplicity.

Sus has both short and long esters so technically you can pin less often. And some guys running it choose to pin eod to keep levels stable and avoid dips. If you don’t mind more frequent pins then it works fine, but for simpler dosing and more stable levels with fewer pins Test E is often the go-to.
