8 Week Comp - CBH

Camping is amazing, I’m not talking your caravan parks, I’m talking remote, off grid, no one else around and self sufficient type of camping.

The HIIT work out on Friday afternoon on the beach wasn’t too bad but went for a 5km beach walk yesterday instead of calisthenics, plus a couple of shorter walks just to wear the dogs out.

The good thing about camping is the meals are all preplanned so lots of protein, the bad thing is the clean meals are supplemented with beers. But worth it.

Got home and washed the van, and that’s me for the manual labour this week. Back in the gym tomorrow morning.

I pinned my Reta today at 2mg, so far my pins have been every 6 days and slowly working, I will see next week how I feel but most likely stay at 2mg and go to 7 days.

I also thought while I was stabbing myself to go 15 hours early for my Test-e pin as well. Can anyone see any issues with going early? I was thinking because it’s long acting it wouldn’t have any detrimental effects. Yes I know, a bit cowboy of me bet hey 🤷‍♂️View attachment 8086View attachment 8087

Tbh I had to look up what a pip was🤷‍♂️

This is 100% exactly what it feels like. I was using my glutes and swapping sides each week. May try my quads tomorrow and maybe use two pins to spread it out.
Quads are fine bros but just be aware they can hit alot harder than glutes if you’ve never pinned there. More chance of soreness or limping after if you catch a bad spot. Start very light and go outer quad and see how you go.

Yeah this is what I’ve done and mostly resolved the problem, only slightly tender in the quad.

Warmup 90sec each
Band openers
Scap push-ups
Zottman curls 10kg
L sits
Thoracic rotations

Supersets x 5 sets
Bent over row (first set at 40kgx8, other 4 sets were 60kg x8)
Bench press
6x 40kg,
6x 60kg
6x 70kg
6x 80kg
4x 85kg (I nearly shat myself, damn preworkout)

Supersets x 4 sets
Incline DB Shoulder press 22.5kg x8
Ring row x12

Superset x 2 sets
15kg db push press x 12
Diamond Sit-ups x12
Mountain climbers x24

I went to the beach for a swim after and although cold, it was just what I needed, I felt amazing all day. You never really notice when your feel great, mainly only notice when theres niggles or sore, so to feel great, I’m very happy.

So much so, after hitting 85kg for 4, I thought I would map out to get back to 100kg bench which I haven’t done for 6 years due to back or shoulder or elbow injuries (or all 3).

Decided to finally have a rest day today.

Went for a short walk along the beach before work and a short dip, starting to feel like ice plunge, nearly didnt dive under.

Had a couple of beers on a date night with mrs threw macros slightly.
