Background

Amateur bodybuilder from 20 to 27. Used test. Back then half of it was vetinary though it worked. Fast forward to now age 56. I hadn't been in the gym since my 20, s. Been training for 4 months. Including a 10 week cycle of 300ml / 1 ml a week each of Deca and sus. My concern at my age was injury. I think I've got off lightly. I have a tendon injury in my elbow. Met with a sport medicine doctor. He said 3 to 6 months rest. Also at my age it may also not recover. I just kept training. The gear and 100 mg of voltarin a day has made it manageable. Stopping for 3 to 6 months would be the end of my last ditch attempt to get in shape. The test was life changing mentally. I had forgot what it felt like to feel right. My gains on test were 7 kg.
Though I lost almost all of that 3 weeks later. Clearly water retention. I should have done TRT. Though being old school back in the day we just stopped and rested our organs. I won't be that misinformed again.

I've been. Lucky to chat with @gearmaniac101 .I must say he is the most professional and responsible person I have ever spoken to and sort advice on my cycle. Far my conservative than myself and far more considered in his recommendations to me. In the gear world you never come across someone that has your best interests and health at heart and not just pushing stuff. Thank you @gearmaniac101.

I'm placing an order with @gearmaniac101 tomorrow.

Training:

Day 1 Chest, Shoulders, abs
Day 2 Back, Biceps, abs
Day 3 Legs Tris, abs
Repeat
I've put Tris with Legs in an attempt to share the load with elbow injury

Cardio 1 hour walking per day

Supplements/Vitamins:

Creatine 20 grams a day

Diet:

Needs more focus. I'm getting 200 plus grams protein a day.
This week I will measure closely calories, carbs and fats.

Cycle Stack:

12 week cycle
Test Sustonan 250 - 750 ml a week
Test - Deca - 750ml a week
Primo - 250ml per week

Goal:

Get body fat under 25%
Lose “love handles” and fat around lower abs
Overall size and strength.

If I was much younger I would have targets for different exercises. Though I feel like I'm already flying way to close to the sun risking further injuries. And at 56 I simply Cant afford a major injury like rotator cup, back or pec.

I will post a couple of pictures this afternoon.

Overall Health

Blood pressure ideal
Cardio good
Bloods - waiting on results

Finally I'm.struggling to find a gym.partner with the hours I do. I do my best with training to failure though it's just not the same. Frustrating.

Any advice I would really appreciate. Particularly diet, goals, cycle and training. Yeah so everything! 👍

Pic taken just then. I know I'm not in shape though compared to 4 months ago I look very different.

That picture of me is a BIG wake up call. I knew I was carrying high body fat more so around stomach and hips. Though I thought I looked better than that. I don't like pictures taken. So I don't see myself. Wear long sleeve sweatshirts when I train. Don't use long mirrors. It's a very good wake-up call. Game on 👍

Great start buddy.
For training partners i just find someone who is thwre at the same time as you would be.
Ask them for a spot one day and just watch you will be training buddies soon as.

Hey bro good luck with the transformation I'm sure you're gonna do well.

With the training to failure thing too, I'm not sure how you work out but I saw a good suggestion that once you're in mid 30's and beyond, to minimise injury chances, if going to failure, keep the reps beyond 6 per set. I'm sure you do as that's very low, but when you start up the cycle just something to keep in mind in case you're like me who think one day "I'm gonna try a double at x weight. Or 1rm".

Also I had tendon issues maybe 10 or so gears ago, ghrp6 + cjc1295, whether it was supposed to or not, completely fixed them. There's other peptides people suggest for it and they could be even better.

Legend thanks very much for your advice and encouragement. I will take all your advice and put it into action today👍 In terms of this elbow injury it just bloody annoys me more than pain. It's the tendon / joint near elbow going to forearm. In your experience is this something that I can just live with? I'm using natural grips where possible. It's not getting worse but just wont get better. I Cant sleep on the side it's on as it aggravates it more than gym. The sports med doc said it's not that uncommon at my age and many people that have it get it doing nothing👍 Cheers Ty

I've heard some compounds (deca?) Can be helpful for joints. Not sure on those personally, may need to check with someone more knowledgeable on aas.

You probably could just exist with it, but as you go heavier and the muscles start growing it could potentially exacerbate it. For me if it was getting in the way of things I'd look into peptides, but its really up to how it's effecting you.

Mine I couldn't press on anything without it hurting, but natural grips is def a smart move.

If its a tennis/golfers elbow type deal, Anyone I know who opted to naturally fix it had to take months or into years off of weights and didn't recover as well as i did. Everyone's results vary, but I was able to keep working out while both mine recovered.

Also on the side making sure you're getting fish oil and magnesium in, I feel like they help keep my joints healthy.

That's brilliant advice thank you mate for taking the time to. explain all. of that. I'm definitely going to hit peptides. And yes you are right on tennis elbow. It could take 12 months. And still not recover. I'm grateful it's not getting worse really. Cheers Ty
