Approved Log My Training Log - First Cycle Log

Guess I'll need to figure out an upper body focused workout for a little while. Ended up with a Lisfranc ligament Injury and will need surgery 😅

Can anyone recommend a good customisable dumbbell set thing?
Ahh that’s annoying. But love the positive attitude. Just a little setback I guess. These dumbbells seem to be popular, see what you think.

6 weeks flies bro. Get through the surgery, follow the physio and don’t rush the foot back under load. Upper body and rehab focus for now then ease back in.

Normally my Monday weekly updates are quite positive with lots of information but now I'm a bit off track, but with every plan to get back to it soon. Too add on to my list of problems with 2026, I had food poisoning over the weekend, which was fun.

Currently, I am not tracking my food, can't track my weight, haven't worked out for a week. I am at least maintaining my TRT, a reasonably high protein diet and trying to stay positive.

It's nothing I can't come back from, it's just a hurdle on the way to my goals, just a big one. Currently doing some reading into BPC-157, to see if that will help with the foot recovery and will probably look at another test cycle to make up for the lost progress.

Post surgery updates, I'm now full of metal in my foot and in a moon with orders of no weight bearing on that foot for 6 weeks, and after that I'll still be stuck in a moon boot, but I'll at least be able to put some weight on it, for 3-6 months. Nice long recovery time.
In the meantime, I've started the calorie tracking again and am in the process of trying to figure out what the hell my workout program will look like for the next 6 weeks, and then for up to 6 months after that. Getting some equipment at home is expensive, but getting to the gym is going to be difficult, but I'll make something work.

Holy sh#t...hang in there mate. Sounds like a rough trot x10.

Crazy bro. Long recovery ahead. Keeping protein high, sticking with TRT and doing what you can at home will keep you from losing too much. Even light upper body or seated work will help and once you’re back on the foot, progress will come faster than you think. Keep your spirit high brother.

Injuries are the worst. I’ve been through a few myself and the mental side is usually harder than the physical. The calorie tracking will be ideal, that’s something you can control right now and it’ll stop things sliding.

Calorie tracking is proving difficult at the moment, but trying to reign myself in.

I did finally get back to working today at least, dragged the young fella through it as well.
Had to modify a couple of things when my pull up rings immediately broke. But already sorted a replacement.
