Approved Log My Training Log - Another old man trying to live life as a young man

Cardio done, but no wights for me today. Just finished the packing and now off to pick up the kids for a school Dad's camping trip. At least I've copped out and took the easy route, booked a cabin.

Well the weekend went easier than expected. Just let the kids run wild. Managed to get some work done on a tool I’m building to try and monetize. Sadly nothing to do with the gym as that’d be much more interesting.



4:30 start and a 45m cycle session. Only one more episode of Fallout to go. I’m going to miss it. Need to find another show to keep me distracted now. Can’t be something really slow as that’d put me off cycling.



Amazing how inconsistency in training can cause big impacts to lifts. It was only two weeks ago I was doing 150kg x 12 for the RDL. Going to take a few more weeks to get back. Just reaffirms how important consistency is.

Still struggling with motivation. Wish there was a magic pill for this. I was hoping the new workout plan would have helped.

Omg. My AC joint survived 70kg on the overhead press. Not sure if it’s the 3 months of daily injections of TB500 and BPC157 or just the time off or a bit of both. Guess I’ll never know until the pharma industry do some real human trials. Happy to be a Guinea pig for now.

As for the rest of the workout, felt strong, improvements across all exercises. And this was after my stupidly early MMA session. In fairness it was pretty light work this morning, all stand up, and half the time spent on hand fighting for control.

Hack squats are still killing me. I have a feeling they always will.

Friday early morning cycle, Saturday BJJ, Monday Muay Thai.

No weight training for me yesterday or today. I pulled my neck, embarassingly in my sleep. This isn't the first time I've done it, I remember dreaming I had a car crash, and woke up with sore neck. I must jerk so hard i my sleep as I've done this many times.

Seem to be going well on the increased test (300mg week), no issues so far, apart from a bit more soreness with the injection, guess this is just the increased volume (0.4m x3) in the muscle, might try some longer needles if I get time to grab some.

I've done it to my neck in the past twice in the most random ways. Once by just turning in bed and the second, drying my hair with a towel after a shower 😂
 
Thanks guys, this has been rough, haven't been this ill for a very long time. What makes it worse is my son has been in A&E and no hospital for 3 days with my wife, and I've got to look after the other terror as a single parent! Luckliy nothing time won't fix, he's just got internal bruising from a bike crash. Doing jumps and another kid stopped on the landing.

AFL ball in eye, damaged optical nerve and can’t see properly. Either blurry best case, or worse case he sees nothing, incredibly they believe the optic nerve is just bruised and will recover, take weeks to months but he will highly likely get normal vision again, if it was an adult apparantly it would be very unlikely. Amazing how resiliant kids bodies are.

Thent his week, bike crash, he was doing a jump and another kid stopped his bike on the landing. Luckily it's just internal organ bruising but he still can’t breathe or walk properly.

It's been a pretty hectic life for an 8 year old the past couple of weeks.
