Approved Log My Test + Tren cycle log

Hey guys,

Checking in for the first time this week after an intense full body session this morning.

Back on cycle and feeling the lifts starting to progress again. Almost ran the whole stack on tricep push downs and I seem to be getting closer to maxing out the lateral raise machine which is great.

Lot of the same movements but the weights and/or reps are going up, as well as the level of fatigue after each set is going down which are great signs of strength increases.

I did also do a wrestling class today and felt my cardio did slightly improve although I’m not sure why. It may be that due to having less water retention after being off cycle for 2 weeks - that’s my best guess but not complaining!

I’ll probably be hitting legs tomorrow and be resting Saturday to hit the weights again on Sunday.

Hey guys,

Whilst I was supposed to hit legs tomorrow and rest today, I actually ended up resting yesterday and training full body today as I was still a bit stiff after workout and doing a wrestling class on Thursday, on Friday.

I had a pretty monstrous session today, with the key improvements/lifts being 70kg tricep push downs and doing 100kg preacher curl machine for reps which really blasted the arms.

Still going strong on my rear delt flys and lateral raises, as well as my back movements and others.

Another key thing to note is my diet. I feel like my calories are probably approaching 5000 at this point if not more, per day, and I’m maintaining a pretty lean/compact figure. Still don’t quite have abs but I know I will have them eventually even if I don’t diet down super hard to get them.

Overall I’m still growing efficiently and effectively which is reflected in my progress photos and lift updates, and I’m super happy with how things are going.

I’ll be resting tomorrow and will recap on the week then.

Hey guys,

Checking in for the third time this week on Sunday night to recap the week and focus on some goals before the big gearmaniac challenge on 1st June.

Really happy with the overall physique development and how I’m feeling mood wise and all.

I am just brainstorming some good goals that I’d love to hit in months time in time for the challenge which would be an 8-10 rep set of 80kg tricep push downs, I’d love to max out the lateral raise machine in the gym too as well as do 20kg lateral raises with dumb bells.

As for biceps, whilst I haven’t done curls with free weights in a while, I’d love to do a good set of 8-10 reps with 25kg dumb bells.

When it comes to back chest legs and others, just to keep progressing week by week and monitor my progress in the mirror. Things are coming along nicely and I remain stoked with my progress.

Finally, I’d like to give another big thanks to @gearmaniac101 who’s professionalism and efficiency allows me to reach my goals.

Also, very impressed that you can do 5000 cals while staying lean (y) I find it really hard to eat clean at that amount.

And I have definitely been blessed/cursed with a huge appetite. I used to be morbidly obese at around 150kg so I’ve always been a big eater but with clean foods and obviously the gear, most of it goes toward muscle growth and repair which is great

Hey guys, first check in of the week after a back and Bi’s session yesterday morning and a BJJ workout this morning.

Back and bi session was great. I was well rested coming in and really destroyed the arms with both preacher curls and cable curls, as well as the standard back movements. Whilst I can’t physically see my back, I can see in the mirror that my biceps are continuing to grow at a solid rate. Perhaps most importantly, I can feel it in my clothes! Sleeves are definitely feeling tighter these days in a good way :)

Onto the BJJ side of things, despite my BF% being decent (probably around 15%), my cardio SUCKS.

It’s to the point where I’m getting big enough that it actually hinders my cardio which won’t stop me from growing because size is ultimately my goal, but if anyone has tips on sups/PEDs to improve cardio definitely let me know.

I am weighing around 116kg these days which is pretty solid and I am inching closer to the 120kg mark which is my initial goal (with abs).

Hey guys,

I’ll be writing logs today as I’ll be hitting the weights twice. The first time being legs which I’ve just finished, and I’ll be doing upper body later in the day.

I’m pretty well rested so I managed to get the legs pumping hard, and since I usually don’t have a dedicated leg day, I went for much higher volume so it’s safe to say I won’t be walking at 100% for the rest of the day 🤣

I’ll have a progress pic up after my upper body session a bit later.

Hey guys,

Reporting back after today’s second session where I hit upper body for a couple of hours, focusing on arms, shoulders, chest and back.

Most of the weights were pretty consistent, except for pec fly’s which I noticed significant improvement in. I can even feel the pump hours later as I’m writing this which is pretty insane 🤣.

I’m still monitoring physique progress in the mirror almost every day. Evidently I’ve been growing at a solid rate but I have noticed as of late that the biceps are really popping out which is awesome to see as they are often exposed even when wearing clothes.

In addition to the muscle growth I have also seen that I’m getting leaner slowly and consistently. I can feel it in my clothes too, with a lot of pants feeling looser. At this rate I am very confident I’ll reach my initial goal of 120kg (with abs) in the near future. Earlier this week I weighed in at around 116kg so I’m not too far off!

As todays session was a long and intense one, I am likely to take the next couple days off to recover and hit the weights again on Wednesday and I’ll be reporting back to you guys then!

Impressed by the focus on high volume for legs, that definitely pays off when you don’t have a dedicated leg day!

The lean, size-gain look is always the goal :)

Also, for improving your cardio, have you thought about mixing in some HIIT? It can help boost your fitness which could also improve your BJJ performance?

Hey guys,

Checking in for the first time this week after yesterdays full body session.

Honestly didn’t have the best day at work so it felt good to unleash some energy on the weights and having that extra motivation definitely came out productively here.

Smashed biceps and triceps to start, followed by shoulders, chest and back and then some calf raises to finish off.

I’m continuing to see really good development all over especially in the shoulders and biceps. Sometimes the pictures at the end of the session even surprise me.

I’ll be doing some swimming for a change tomorrow as I’ve heard it’s great for your cardio and it won’t hinder recovery given that it’s slow paced so I’m looking forward to that for a change.

I’ll then be hitting the weights on Sunday again to finish off the week.

Here I’ll be reporting yesterday where I went to go and swim and suana at one of the aquatic centres here in Sydney.

Just took my time and did laps with a short sauna session afterwards. It was a great change of pace and a lot of fun as I barely ever get in the water. Also found the sauna was awesome for recovery as I’m usually quite stiff for a day or two after training but after my session yesterday I was feeling good and fresh! I will definitely try keep this up once every week or two. The only thing I might add in would be a massage perhaps but I’ll have to evaluate that next time.

Hey guys,

Reporting here on this mornings full body session.

As mentioned above, I emphasised recovery yesterday so I was able to hit it hard today and got a crazy pump after working the muscles at 110%!

I can definitely notice more fullness specifically in the arms, and as mentioned in a previous log, I am leaning out slowly but surely so fingers crossed the abs come in properly within a month or two.

I did also notice that my usual weights for tricep push downs felt a lot easier this morning so I’ve definitely had some considerable tricep development which is great to see because it’s not a muscle group I typically think about, so to see even the things I’m not as fixated on, developing well, is awesome to see.

I have also noticed considerable back gains in the mirror. This isn’t just due to leaning out, but also really focusing on my back development as of late. I’m looking forward to showcasing an insane back soon enough!

Can’t wait to smash it out next week and get back to you guys.

That sauna and swim combo is underrated hey? I’ve only just started doing the same here and there and it really does loosen up the body. I'm also with you on how muscle groups sneak up with growth, it's consistency doing its thing.
