Coinspot is likely to flag your account. My preferred method: Buy on coinspot, transfer to edge, transfer to gearmaniac. Safer, cause coinspot are one of those tight**** crypto companies but edge wallet doesn't really care, so once it's in edge they can't see it anymore and you're off to the races.

Coinspot is likely to flag your account. My preferred method: Buy on coinspot, transfer to edge, transfer to gearmaniac. Safer, cause coinspot are one of those tight**** crypto companies but edge wallet doesn't really care, so once it's in edge they can't see it anymore and you're off to the races.

How do you send from coinspot to edge? I’ve tried so many times but nothing..
I try to send it and I can’t press the next button after I put the amount in?
If I use lightning network it says “invalid adress”

I would just use edge but they required verification when you purchase bitcoin now and aust drivers licenses are invalid now.. only passport and visa you can use as id.

Lightning wallets are different to regular wallets, they charge less for transactions but aren’t universal. I made the same mistake myself. You have to just use the normal network.

Edge wallets can’t take Lightning, only normal Bitcoin network, that’s why it says invalid. Just send using the regular BTC network, not Lightning.
If Coinspot won’t let you press next, double check the address is right and you’ve picked the right network (BTC, not Lightning).

Also make sure your 2FA is sorted or sometimes it bugs out.

Edge changed their buying rules. Aussie licenses don’t work now, only passport or visa. That’s why best move is just buy on CoinSpot and send across manually.

Yeah, they do that unfortunately. And when I tried to pay gearmaniac directly, they flagged me and I had to lie my ass off to get them to unblock my account. So I always send to edge first and then to gear. Safer.
