Deca cycle

After considerable research I'm now considering a small deca cycle, due to the additional benefits on ligaments and joint health. Great for me considering I've already snapped one ACL and do BJJ.

I was thinking about running a 10 week cycle 175mg Test + 250mg Deca, I've been on 250mg of test for the last year with no issues, but do have elevated blood pressure and am on Telmisartan. However was thinking of reducing this for the cycle due to the increase in HCT and to help avoid excessive aromatisation. I need to keep my HCT in check due to the prescription and don't want to donate. At times my E has gone up to ~300 but mostly sits around 150, so feel reducing T will help with sides here too.

Would be great to hear your thoughts and recommendations?

I think your plan has potential but it's crucial to monitor how your body reacts to this new compound. Lowering Test to 175mg with Deca might help manage estrogen and HCT but it's not guaranteed. I'd really keep a close eye on your bp and estrogen levels and have an AI handy if estrogen spikes. You already would know this but just good to mention, Deca is known to cause ED, so consider Cialis for that, but for libido issues, you may need to adjust testosterone levels. See how you go. Good luck!

@musclemaniac I've read that Deca increases Prolactin but if not stupidly elevated I can keep it checked by 500-600mg a day of vitamin B6. I feel 250mg is a reasonable dose considering some people seem to run 600mg fine. Like you say though, I don't know how I'm going to respond so good to keep an eye on it.

Trying to decide whether to risk running it whilst taking bloods for TRT, I'm also taking Omega 3s, Citrus Bergamont and NAC, so hoping my panel stays reasonably well.

Has anyone cycled it through their TRT blood panel?

P5P is the form of vitamin b that you’re after. It can help a bit but don’t expect it to work like caber.

With Deca it is advisable to run a 2:1 ratio with Test and Deca to offset the effects of increased prolactin. You will also need caber to reduce prolactin. The increase in prolactin causes Deca ****. So 400 test/200 Deca and 0.25mg of Caber.

I've read lots of people suggesting higher test to offset the prolactin increases, but then you have much higher estrogen. Pros and Cons I suppose. I was reading quite a few threads about the benefits of the opposite in running lower test and slightly higher deca.

But further reading this morning, no idea how I missed it, is about the cardio toxic effects of Deca, and in some ways it can be seen as worse then Tren. Back to the drawing board. This is why I went with Anavar for this cycle, trying to find a simple cycle which won't completely through my blood out. Wish I had much lower HCT, naturally I'm high end of range.

My Garmin shows that I have normal blood oxygen levels thorugh out the night, so unlikely to have sleep apnea, also even if I did I just can't imagine I'd ever get used to sleeping with a mask just to lower my HCT.

Try Masteron

Try Masteron
I turned away from Masteron due to it's effect on weaking and drying ligaments and tendons, I've previously snapped an ACL which was replaced from my hamstring tendon and is still remoddeling, plus with BJJ and torquing stress from Muay Thai I'm petrified I'll snap it or the other one if on Masterone.

Maybe just stick with the compounds that work best for you. Not worth risking if you ask me.

Yeah it's difficult, I'll see how I go with this Anavar cycle, perhaps this will give me enough results to meet my goals. I'm just impatient, and that shortcut is always just in reach.

So many pros and cons to all the compounds, really feels like Primo is the best compromise for me, our sponsors don't sell it, as being expensive I've read it's one of the highest faked compounds. I just need to work out what my compromise is going to be, heart health, joint health, mental health...

I still feel Deca is close, but perhaps I look at running slightly less. 200T/200D. From what I've read I wouldn't need Caber at that level, and would get by with Vit B6/P5P, I'm aiming for a simple cycle without auxillory compounds. The more I read the more I realise I need to learn.

Maybe try the deca at a small dose and see how you go.

I'm still leaning towards Deca, after coming across the following video from MPMD. I'm already on Telmisartan, obvisously the study doesn't show where the minimum limits sit within dosage ranges etc. But is reasurring that perhaps some of the side effects would be partly mitigated at least.
