Coming out of mini cut

Just about to wrap up my 3 week mini mini cut, down about 6kg so far and planning my gaining phase that starts Monday.

Prior to cut I was gaining about 0.4kg a week on 3400-4000 cals a day (my diet adherence got a bit sloopy there for a while hence the big range in daily cals), average cals the last few weeks have been

Week 1 2886
Week 2 2613
Week 3 (so far) 2312

I've havent dropped this much in such a short time frame in many many years so not sure how to step cals back up, normally in a traditional extended cut I'd increase them about 2-300 a week. I want to get back to gaining and go on cycle next week so don't want to bring them up too slowly but also don't want to slap a heap of shit weight on straight away, thinking about jumping straight to about 3200 cals for week 1 and then working up from there. What are people's thoughts? Too aggressive or too timid straight after aggressive cut and cal drop?

Good job on the cut. Jumping straight to 3200 cals sounds fine. After a heavy deficit like that, your body will need the fuel back quick to recover, especially with the cycle starting. No need to creep it up super slow, you're not stage lean where a reverse diet would make sense.

I’d sit at 3200 for at least 7 - 10 days, keep an eye on the scale, strength and how you're feeling. If you're steady or just slightly up, you can bump 100 - 150 cals after that. The gear will help partition nutrients better anyways so you'll be building not just getting fat.

Way better to do it this way than risk dragging your recovery and blunting your gains early.
