13 Weeks of Nandrolone

I just wrapped up 13 weeks of nandrolone.

Weeks 1-5 100mg nandrolone 200 mg test cypionate
Weeks 5-13 200 mg nandrolone 250 mg test cypionate

Age: 44

Height 5'11''

Body weight: 196 at start 200 at end. No real difference, it fluctuated throughout.

Strength: + 5 -10 lbs on all major lifts (bench, squat, etc). This could be more to do with the extra test than anything.

Cardio: no noticeable improvement or reduction

Blood work: All blood markers were normal, except Ferritin which was very low. There were NO issues with liver function, RBC, or Hematocrit.

Joint pain: No joint pain while on nandrolone.

Within 2 weeks of being off: bad back pain… elbow and shoulder pain returned.

Overall, I was not impressed with nandrolone for strength or body composition changes. However, the joint pain relief appears to be very real. I’ve tried various peptides in the past to help my joints, including BPC 157 and others. None of them worked.

While on nandrolone, I wasn’t sure if the pain relief was real or just coincidence. Having stopped it, I believe the two are definitely connected. I find it unlikely all of this pain would return within 2 weeks if the nandrolone wasn’t doing “something”.

Conclusion: I think I’m going to add 100mg of nandrolone to my trt does and run it every month. Will check blood again in 6 months.
 
At that dose that’s exactly what I would expect. Joint pain relief but no major improvements in strength. I am also prescribed 100mg/wk of nandrolone and I feel I actually might need to increase it a bit as I haven’t felt much relief.
 
Not surprised with your verdict on mainly/only joint relief @100mg and 200mg dosages..I run it at 150mg/ wk strictly for joint relief.. when I blast I run it around 400-600mg and it will make you grow. I however don't agree with your assessment on nandro in not having any strength gains or added lbm and physique changes. Try 400mg +/wk and let us know if you have a different opinion.
 
You need to use atleast 300mg of deca with around 500mg of test to see good gains. 13 weeks on 200mg just simply wasn't long enough at that dose. Better is to use NPP so you aren't waiting so long for gains. 100mg EOD is 350mg/wk and works for almost a everybody.
 
Agree with most of the above. Low level helps older or problem w joint pain. Not really going to show it’s true power unless using a decent weekly dose. IMO/IME. It is a great mass builder.
 
I once ran 125mg during my cruise and only noticed joint pain relief. No strength gains or weight gains really. Now I’m on 375mg and strength has definitely gone up but I also upped my test so that could be it as well. Joints feel even better now.
 
Agreed that upping the dose probably helps the strength, I just like the fact at 100-200mg/week there were no blood markers that were high, that is fantastic to see. It had no impact on lipids either, or very little if any.

Plus the joints NEVER hurt while on it after week 3. I'm curious to see what happens after another six months, I'm going to start another cruise with it on... 100-150 mg per week with 200 test.

That's a good point, your health markers were barely effected at all. Now you know you can possibly afford to run a little higher for a better gains to health trade off.

True, it might be worth going 250 -300 mg per week on the nandrolone. I just worry about the ***ual side effects I read about. I didn't use any caber this time, only p5p and the prolactin was 13.6 (reference range as 4 - 15 ng/l). That was close to the edge.
 
Nandrolone is very helpful for joints. I use it for that purpose and also because it is the best steroid to put on mass. You can increase the dosage a little, but I think the main reason you're not gaining weight is because you're not eating enough. In order to grow, you need a lot of food.

Yeah I hear you on that. If ***ual performance is an issue you're better off running EQ or Primo imo. But if you run test higher than the deca you should be fine.
 
The “sweet spot” for deca is around 400mg/week, however it will kill your ability to maintain an erection. I ran 400 with 750 of test e last cycle, which is pretty well my norm for years, growth was good and deca will help you retain muscle after a cycle, I have only lost 3 kg in 6 months off cycle, but your training and diet has to be on point as well, however it has taken almost 3 months for *** drive to get back to normal.
I ruptured my left tricep in early November last year and stayed on the deca to help repair the tendon after it was reattached, and went off at Christmas time.
Deca/nandrolone will help joint pain at 100-200mg/week
Deca really needs to be at 400mg/week for slow, quality, permanent muscle gains, having said that, diet, training, supplementation needs to be on point both during and after a cycle
You should run test with deca, the given was always double the deca, but that’s a lot for a beginner, maybe consider caber to fix prolactin issues and run test at the same level as deca. In the end, you have to find what works for your body, everyone reacts differently to different compounds. Having said that, my first ever cycle back in the dark ages, when we could get sustanon 250 and deca 100 from the pharmacy, a mate and I took two amps (they came in 1ml ampoules ) of each per week, so 500 sustanon and 200 deca a week, we both gained 10kg in 10 weeks, so it obviously worked at 200 for beginners.
 
I’m doing 650/700mg per week. All joint issues have disappeared. I have had no sleep problems like Testosterone causes or an increase in sleep apnea like Testosterone causes (even at low doses).

It works for me.

The negative effects are “ED” and a lack of ability to “arrive” - it’s really weird.

Adding Arimidex 1mg Mon/Wed/Fri which has off label reported anti-progesterone effects…has made no difference to these side effects.

To keep the GF happy you should as previously stated here you should probably run deca with test at double your deca dose to help with the negative side effects.

A testosterone base will solve this ,you aren't aromatising enough e2 and have no testosterone in there,therefore can't get it up.no deca or nandrolone only cycles,test base for every cycle.

Have added 30mg dbol daily one 3x a day and things have improved.

I also realised the 18mg Boron I was taking daily is probably enough of an antiestrogen.

The anti SHBG activity of Boron (similar to mesterolone) is also valuable as your free hormone blood level should remain higher.

Other studies have shown a 30% increase in free testosterone and a 40% reduction in free estrogen, all this at 11.6mg Boron per day after 7 days of supplementation.

They also noticed an increased level of DHEA and increased Vitamin D blood levels along with a decrease in inflammatory cytokines.

I've run a similar cycle in the past, and joint relief was noticeable, but I had to keep my test slightly higher to balance things out. Some guys don’t feel the suppression much, but I definitely noticed a dip in libido around week 8. I
