G'day everyone,

I'm taking 6 iu hgh, 3 morning and 3 evening, 1 ml test a week for the last 7 weeks. I just started getting swelling around my ankles and some joint point. Is this normal. I've attached a video.

Solid dose to start with so it certainly won’t help - I notice it in forearms with anything over 3iu.

@doc hit the nail on the head there with the high dosage!

also, the combo with test can also contribute to joint related issues.
How does it affect joints ? I noticed more tendinitis but put it down to better recovery and more training intensity.

The combo makes you retain more water, causing swelling and stiffness. Also bulks up your muscles and tissues which can change how your joints handle stress. So yes, tendinitis.... you're recovering faster, you're probably hitting the gym harder and more often.

That makes sense and exactly how it feels. Interesting that Nandrolone’s hold water but they seem to help joints/ tendons. I don’t notice the same muscle stiffness on nandrolone’s either

Regards your video- I’ve seen diabetics with ankles like that. Get a cheap glucose monitor from chemist if you want to continue using GH . I only notice mild issues if eating carbs and using more than 4iu at once but other medications and exercise will affect it too . Fasted test in mornings and hour after meals should help assess your issue. Everyone is different but insulin sensitivity and wonky sugar levels are a side effect of unregulated GH use

Running gh at that dose is just a waste of $ and recipe for disaster re swelling, joint pain, etc, in my opinion. 2-4iu a day works well. GH needs to be run for a long time to have any growth benefits, up to 6 months from what I understand. Also high dose GH may decrease insulin sensitivity and cause insulin resistance, the reason people run insulin with GH. I have only used it pre comp at 4iu/day for fat burning and I was impressed, however I don't have the finances, never have, to run it for 6 months and see how it goes, I'm sure it would be amazing at my age, just for the feel good effects. Oh to be young again 🤣
