Lower Body

Little bit of movement with this mornings weigh in. Moving in the right direction 👊🏼

Hadn’t fully recovered from my previous lower body day, but trying to align training days with a new schedule so I just had to power through it.

It became apparent that I had not fully recovered. While my first couple of lifts showed some marginal improvement, I was pretty well smoked 3/4 way through and tapped out.

On top of that people fkn kept talking to me , gave me the shits and I lost some momentum. I like to stick to my rest times and keep moving so this threw me off as well.

Hoping to squeeze in a catch up sesh tomorrow to make up for what was missed today. Normally a rest day but YOLO gotta be done!✅

Thought I’d try the delt for a change. Was smooth and pain free, but the new pin size was far too high. 30g, took fkn ages to send it down range but got there eventually. Will probs change it back to 26g or thereabouts..
How long was the needle?

Normally today is a rest day for me however I had a small window of opportunity to make up for a bit missed in yesterdays session.

Followed up with a little date night with the Mrs and a delicious 350g ribeye (no pics sorry I was hungry). Not a bad day at all ☺️

Still working out the hip thrust machine. It is new to me and still feels kinda awkward.
Not used to squeezing the glutes so much in that movement.

Push Day

Just spamming my new favourite PWO meal. Still playing around with cook times but I’m loving the meal and the added energy and strength it’s giving me during my sessions..

Had to change up the order of exercises due to gym being busy but I managed to get through majority of it. Still quite strong on lifts despite not performing in normal order.. 💪🏼

Enjoying this Supine Press with a neutral grip. Still flare the elbows slightly at the bottom to remove too much Tricep, and the chest contraction feels amazing.

Pull Day

Big pull today!! Loving the exercise mix.
Feel like I’ve just flipped a switch and my training has improved significantly. Focus, motivation, mind/muscle connection, adherence to diet, feels like everything is just falling into place.

Let’s not jinx it but hey!

Had a solid weekend sticking to the plan with no deviation, and the results showed this morning. Happy with the rate it’s dropping atm, still feeling full and eating plenty so no need to make any adjustments yet.

Got the PWO meal on lock now, so good!

Mate was in town down from QLD so we caught up for a sesh and hit the local Anytime.

Wasn’t my normal array of equipment, but we had a good Upper workout. Reminds me why I prefer training solo but, so much time wasted lol.

Lower Body

Had an ordinary sleep last night, which impacted my entire day from mood to work to energy.

Khunt of a day at work amplified by my lack of sleep, but I powered through.

No real progression this workout, but no regression either which is a bonus considering I’m currently in a deficit trying to lean up pre-cycle..

No pump Tricep flex, little 🐎 shoe coming through there nicely..

Returned home to some pleasant mail, which made my mood slightly better. Slowly gearing up for grow time…
