Hey Ladies :)

Question to all the beautiful mums out there, regardless of experience in the gym, just from your own experience as mothers. Have any of you had any cosmetic work done for sagging skin in the tummy or the chest region

There’s so many different procedures now, so I was also curious if anyone knows anyone or has had a fat transfer instead of using silicone.

Ok... So my partner had a tummy tuck, and she's really glad she did. She chose minimal liposuction and a natural look. Her surgeon did an amazing job, and even other doctors have been impressed. She healed well, so the scar is minimal and below the bikini line. The key was not pulling the skin too tight, so her belly button and tummy look natural. If the skin is too tight, it doesn’t look as good.

She had some sagging skin after losing a lot of weight, which wouldn't go away on its own. Recovery is tough—you’ll have 1-2 drainage tubes for a few days and need to lie on your back with pillows under your legs for 2-3 weeks with very limited movement. My partner overdid it and popped some stitches just getting food and water. It’s a minimum 6-week healing time, and even then, it’s hard to do daily tasks. She also couldn’t drive for 2 weeks. Choosing the right surgeon is crucial.

For breast procedures, she had a reduction, but she thinks implants under the muscle look and feel the most natural based on her friends' experiences. However, implants need to be replaced every 7-10 years. Hope this helps you!

My Mrs had 2 breast surgeries. 1st one was saline implants that lasted about 15 years. She had breast cancer 2 years ago so had them replaced due to a rupture when she had a partial mastectomy. Always did under the muscle so you cant see them, but she got the cohesive silicone gel this time around so they should be with her indefinitely... she loves them. They actually feel very natural.

No idea about the fat transfer though.

Thank you soooo much for all this information!

My problem was completely self caused. When I was pregnant with my first I stress ate during the pregnancy.

This time with my daughter, I did everything right. I was running and lifting throughout my entire pregnancy with my husband along side me cheering me on. I wasn’t too big post baby, breastfed for 17 months with no formula, was on a decent meal plan and worked out twice a day.

Mentally I wasn’t okay which lead to a bit of a melt down but after all of that I was left right where I started back. Heavy, sad and not knowing what to do. Kieto is what finally worked for me.

I know I still have a grip of fat to loose and I still want kids in the future, so a tummy tuck isn’t an option now but I wanted to see who out here might have had one and what they experienced! :)

I love my body now, saggy uneven titties and all. Many days I struggle but most I can see past it and see my potential.

Thanks for all your responses

I had my titties disappear on me too. had mine done a few years ago and I did cohesive gel (on top of muscle) as well just like @slimAmzy Mrs :)

Those shouldn't need to be replaced at any point unless you decide to change size.

As for the fat transfer, do more research as it's not ideal for women like us who workout, enhance ourselves with supplements as you'll end up burning that fat off down the road. Fat transfers aren't for everyone.

I was like you, never had an issue with my boobs, been a 32DDD all my life, implants were the last thing on my mind. Then one day, long story short, I needed them. Best investment I ever made

Yes, I had the same thoughts about the opposite body. I was a cute perky barely B and after two kids and breastfeeding.. I’m just all National Geographic now 😂

So this gel you speak of, how natural do they feel to you? Not appearance-wise, but having them in your chest, do you even remember they are still there? Lol weird question sorry!

Love your post babe

You're beautiful with or without the new boobs :)

From what I've heard they feel as natural as they can be... if that makes sense? Apparently you just get use to them and they feel normal after a while ... this is what my friends have told me.

Look wise obviously not one size fits all as there are too many variables... but feel wise, they feel great. Firm, they stay put, natural feeling.. You don't really notice them. They don't feel odd. You can feel them as you touch and "examine or exercise"/move your boobs after surgery and as they heal. But after that, it's pretty normal. Lol if that makes sense.

Nah it does make sense ... the last thing I want is my husband to complain that they feel like rocks 😁

A bit late to the post.. but I did the under muscle breast implants and I love them. The recovery was a bit tough at first but the results were definitely worth it.

I had also looked into fat transfer and how it can give a more natural feel compared to silicone. While I went with implants, a close friend of mine chose fat transfer for her breasts. She liked that it used her own body fat, but she mentioned it required a bit more maintenance to keep the desired shape 🤷‍♀️ ... but honestly, mine feel very natural.

I know old post. My partner wants tummy tuck. Can I ask what you roughly paid ?

I’m looking into getting implants as well. Do you mind sharing how much you paid? I’m so confused as the prices really vary. I’m also exploring overseas options. Thank you :)

No worries at all 😊 happy to share! I paid around $19,000 all up here in Australia. That included the surgeon, hospital fees, anesthesia, post-op bras… the whole lot. I know it sounds like a lot, but honestly, I felt way more comfortable having it done here because of the aftercare. I’ve had two friends go overseas to places like Thailand and Turkey and yeah… while it was cheaper, the aftercare just wasn’t the same. One of them had a complication and had to see a surgeon back here anyway 😬 so personally I wouldn’t risk it.

Have you decided what style you’re thinking of going for yet? Like round vs teardrop? I went with under muscle, moderate profile, round implants. I wanted that full look but still naturalish. I didn’t need a lift, but a few girls I know did have to get one depending on their natural shape. Have you been told you might need a lift too or just implants?

Also… have you looked into the scarring? Mine were under the crease so they’re super well hidden, but it depends on your body and what the surgeon recommends. I used silicon scar strips religiously after and it made such a big difference!

Happy to answer anything, it’s such a journey and there’s sooo much to take in. 😅💖 Let me know where you’re at with it!

Omg thank you SO much for the detailed reply, seriously means a lot

That price range is what I've been hearing and yeah I totally get what you mean about aftercare. That’s actually one of my biggest hesitations with going overseas. I’ve heard a few horror stories too and I don’t really want to be stressed about follow-ups or complications when I’m back home 😬

I think I’m leaning toward round implants too! I like that fuller look as well, but I definitely want them to still feel soft and natural. I’ve booked in a consult for end of month so let's see :giggle:.

Thanks again, really appreciate it 🫶🏼
