Looking for Android Beta Testers for LiftHub (Strength & Weightlifting Tracking App)

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for a small group of Android users who are interested in testing LiftHub, a workout tracking app I’ve been building. The app is focused specifically on weightlifting and strength training, with features around progressive overload, tracking sets and reps, training history, and structured lifting routines. It’s not designed for CrossFit/WOD-style planning, running programs, or cardio-based training. This is just to help follow a structured program (which you can create yourself) and have an easy interface to log workouts, apply progressive overloads, etc.

A bit of context: I’ve personally struggled with staying consistent in the gym, years of on-and-off training, and after trying a long list of fitness apps that never offered the exact workflow I wanted, I decided to learn how to code and build my own. I’m now in Google Play’s Closed Testing phase and need at least 12 testers to move forward.

If you’re into weight training and are open to trying the app and optionally sharing feedback, here’s how to join:

  1. Join the tester group (this grants full membership access during testing):
  2. After joining the group, enroll in the Closed Test:
  3. Download/update the app from Google Play:
The app has a membership feature that unlocks all functionality.
When you join the Google Group above, Google Play automatically applies an “always-approve” test card, which gives you full access for free during the testing phase.

Because this is test billing, Google uses short billing cycles — that’s normal for test environments, but you won’t be charged at any point. Just PLEASE be sure before you sign up for a yearly subscription you check that the credit card selected is the "Test card, always approves" and not your own!

If the app eventually launches publicly, I can manually mark early testers’ accounts as “premium” as a thank-you (this is optional and not linked to reviews or ratings).

You can share feedback through any of these:

Any comments on bugs, UX, unclear behaviour, or feature ideas are very welcome.

Thanks so much to anyone willing to help test this — it really means a lot.

This looks interesting, I'll join
Thank you!
I'm working on implementing some new periodization options, such as GZCLP-like workouts, at the moment.

As you trial the app, please do not hold back on providing me with any feedback that would make this more useful for you!
