2025 Cycle Plans & Fitness Goals?

I see the noob comment so definitely want to try and help here as there is a few red flags.

I'm going to ask a fair few questions but they are really to help you.

Age?
height?
weight?

how long have you been training and whats your current training like?

Whats yiru diet is it dialled in and perfect?

Whats the goal for the cycle?


First off your running 250mg a week now but not on a cycle.

How did you or why did you pick 250mg?

Why did you start taking Test?

Have you done your bloods before you started and while your on it?

How long have you been running 250mg?

The reason I ask is 250mg is just on the edge of what noobies take for a cycle. You in the range of a sports cycle as we like to call it.

Now to the cycle you want to do?

When are you looking at starting this?

Newbies really don't need that much. You can get away with 300mg a week for your first cycle (hence why the 250mg questions above bring red flags)

Anavar. Never run orals for more than 8 weeks but really the safe length (no real safe lengths) is 6 weeks.

Also 20mg unless you are using it onkt for pre work out yoh do need to bump it to normally minimum 30mg a day but I find the sweet spot at 40mgs. 20 is morning g 20 at night.

You should be getting bloods done pre cycle 6 weeks in and then 2 weeks after.

Are you going to run a PCT? Or are you going to cruise and do TRT dosage ( normally 100-150mg a week)

Lastly the gyno. If your prone to it the you will want an AI on hand. You can lt reverse what you have now with an AI that's not how it works. That's a different drug or surgery.

So going straight to 500mg a week probably isn't great for gyno issues. This is why bloods are so important.

Anavar won't be an issue as it wont convert so won't give you thoese E2 issues.

45 years old 6ft tall and 85kg diet is not so good at the moment but only because I don’t have a structured health plan/goal atm.

I try to get to the gym at least 4 times a week in a PPL format with a steady state cardio workout of about 1hr. But like the diet, there’s no goal, I just go and lift heavy things more for my mental health atm. This is not to say that I don’t train intensely.

As for bloodwork- I had a test done a while ago that showed free testosterone levels at <250ng/dL but stupidly I had a bloods done after I started taking Testosterone E at an ill advised dose….. 2700ng/dL .(Only found out last week that there’s a discrete bloodwork service that doesn’t go on your records!) Which is why I now take 2x 125mg a week. I’ve been taking this dosage for 3 weeks. Before that, let’s just say I’m stupid for just going straight into it without proper research, the only defence I have is, I didn’t think!

The cycle is all about getting back into control. I’m starting a new workout routine and diet plan alongside a few lifestyle/career changes.
So the plan is to increase the test E to 500mg week with Anavar 40mg for the last 6 weeks 😉 2x 20mg daily, and with AI’s in support.
I’m looking to start the cycle at the start of February, so plenty of time to do the PROPER research.

PCT will be back down to the 2x 125mg test e a week with continuing liver and gyno support. As for the gyno stuff I’ve known for years, even before I started working out, that the only option was surgical but $$$. All I can do is mitigate any future issues.

No this is perfect and helps out. The more info the better.

Few red flags

So the reason you are on 250m g is because someone said too?

Can I suggest going to 150mg per week? This is the standard TRT level per week and gets you in a good range without the potential for sides.

Running 250mg without any experience or knowledge and someone whos prone to gyno isn't really the best option.

So your saying Feb for your cycle this is treating timing to make sure you get your diet in check and training.
Can I suggest that you comment the next 30 days to make sure it at least 90% perfect? (we will never be 100%) and this is something you will have to be honest with. If you can't commit to 30 days of being as perfect as you can you are going to waste going on gear and again more issues health wise than benefits.


Now your cycle. You DONT need 500mg. This is just a number so many people throw around. Many guys who have done 10+ cycles are still only doing 400mg a week.

Can I suggest you got to 300mg per week. You will get all the same benefits of 500mg with fewer issues with gyno and everything else like bad cholesterol.

So Test 3 300mg a week and 40mg anavar a day last 6 weeks. Run that for 12 weeks and report back.
Diet needs ot be 90% and training needs to be 90%.

Your first cycle will always be the best. You do too much now you need to do more and more each time and then at our age creates more health issues.

I know I go on about it on most post for guys who are new to it all about what iv said but this is so important. Plus its cheaper.

I can’t emphasise how much I appreciate this.

Agreed, 250mg because it was the prevailing advice. I started Test due to low testosterone and a bunch of secondaries- anxiety, depression etc. I guess I fell into the trap of feeling awesome on the dosage I was taking.

As far as Diet goes I have just fallen out of habit of tracking. Easily remedied.

I haven’t put my order in yet, so I’ll take on board your advice and start taking it a lot more seriously than I have been.

What’s the reasoning behind using shorter esters mate? Genuine question out of interest
I got better results with less sides.
Not ideal for younger guys bulking up but I’m almost 60 and have a few long term injuries. Unexpected Interstate travel, infections and injury flares resulted in some big temporary strength losses that prevented me from training correctly -longer esters would have been wasted . I got to run a few short cycles when I could lift decent weights regularly so it suited this situation. My blood tests came back much better than expected. I had less minor sides ( water, acne, sleep, mood) lower bf and good strength . Post cycle test levels remained high so I had to drop TRT dosage to half of what I ran last year 🤷🏻‍♂️ Don’t plan on changing unless blood-work indicates otherwise
 
Yeah copy that makes sense. So what would you roughly expect half life to be of prop esters?
Different oil bases can change a bit but I plan around 3

Half life is only a couple of days but it’s active for up to 5 depending on oil base and metabolism. I find 2x weeky works fine and prevents a buildup of test levels so it’s easy to adjust dose. Would be a pain in the ass to be using big doses that may require more frequent use

I agree 100% but I would ask why is he looking to take anavar? Is he in a contest prep or does he just want to look good on the beach?
