TRT and Gyno

I have just started on TRT and had the first pin last week. The day after I was wrestling with my son and he headbutted my left nipple, not too hard or anything , but it hurt like an absolute moterhf****r. At which point I noticed something wasn't quite right.

The pain was more of a pain when you feel a cyst starting to form, no burning or anything like that. The flesh underneath the painful one feels a little harder than the other one, but only slightly. I can still kind of feel it now but its not really painful.

I'm just trying to figure out if the pain was there before pinning and I just hadn't noticed it.

I guess my questions are:

The symptoms I have read for gyno usually indicate burning nipples , but I haven't seen any thing mentioning the type of pain I was feeling, so are the symptoms just any sort of pain around the nipples ?

Is it possible to feel gyno symptoms the day after pinning ? (125mg Test-E)

I have lost close to 20 kilos over the last 6 or so months, I kinda had the man boobs going at my heaviest. Could this be previous Gyno just from being obese , that's becoming more noticeable as the body fat disappears ?

If it does in-fact turn out to be gyno from the test-e , would that warrant starting to take an AI ?

Thanks in advance legends!

Did yo get bloods done before starting?
If so can you share them here without your personal details.

I would think its impossible to feel it that fast

A similar thing happened to me. I had a bump on one of my nipples that was sore and sensitive to touch. I was able to get rid of it by taking an AI and Nolva at 20mg a day for about 14 days. Eventually it went away. Mine started at the tail end of my cycle.

Yeah I had bloodwork done through a clinic, which just went bust 1 week after i started, so probably just going to fly solo now. Here are the results just before starting. (CRP in this one is high , explained by a cyst at the time)

I never felt any sensitivity , just similar to that pain when a pimple is forming deep under the skin. No more pain in it, but the flesh underneath the sore one feels slighly denser than the other one.

This might be normal though ,as I've never paid so much attention to my nipples lol.

TRT can definitely shake things up hormonally. That bump you’re feeling might be linked to the high estradiol levels in your bloodwork. Even the small injection of 125mg Test E can cause changes fast, especially if your body is sensitive to hormonal shifts.

You mentioned you've recently lost a lot of weight. When body fat drops, any pre-existing gynecomastia from before could become more noticeable. Losing those kilos might have revealed it but TRT might also be making it more pronounced... hard to say.

The type of pain you're feeling can vary with gyno as it's not always burning, sometimes it's more like a dull ache or even sensitivity. If it doesn’t settle you might want to consult with a Dr about your symptoms and also consider an AI to manage the estrogen.

Also your testosterone is 14 nmol/L, which is within the provided range but on the lower side. Combined with high estradiol, this hormone imbalance could also contribute to gynecomastia.

Its definitely settled, there's no pain there anymore, just the slightly harder flesh underneath. If it flares up again I'll def talk to the doctor (hopefully Cactus can resume business next week, not getting my hopes up though)

I had a test a week earlier that came back at 9, so I'm guessing that would make that imbalance even more pronounced ?

CRP is high, which suggests there might be some inflammation. Did you possibly injure that spot without noticing?

I had a pretty nasty cyst at the time, which the doctor said would explain the elevated CRP. He also mentioned that level is nothing much to worry about , its when its creeping up to the 100 mark that there is something serious occurring. I'm sure there is much more to it than that, but he didn't seemed concerned about it.

Sorry also forgot to mention I was able to get some AI prescribed yesterday as well, Anastrozole .25 mg twice per week. The symptoms are still there but it hasn't changed at all , so hoping this might get rid of it while is still a minor issue.

Taking the AI in combo with Nolva should help fix the issue. Just make sure you monitor it.
