Training apps and apps for logging?

There are heaps and really depends on your needs.
You can have anything from a glorified excel spreadsheet to apps that integrate training intensity and feedback to curate your routine for you.
Ones that I can say I've used and recommend are the RPHypertrophy app from renisance periodization (more bodybuilding focused) juggernaut Ai from juggernaut (powerlifting focused) Basestrength Ai from Alexander Bromley (general strength/strongman).
There are thousands of others and a lot have free trials to see if they fit the needs you have.
 
I haven't really used any. I normally write on my phone's notes, but I know some guys at the gym who use JEFIT. They say it's pretty good.
