Hey guys,

looking for some feedback on my second cycle. getting bloods in the next 2 weeks and bloods taken at week 8/12 mid cycle. also daily injections will be used

Currently sitting at 80 kg around 12–13% body fat.
Diet is fully structured — all meals weighed to the gram and consistent daily.
Training 6 days per week with high intensity and progressive overload focus.

taking it easy with this cycle not as high as most cycles I've seen but would like some feedback.

Goal is pushing quality mass and overall upper body size and density

That’s structured fine but I don't think you need that gradual ramp . I'd pick a moderate dose from week 1 and stick with it. The constant increases won’t suddenly unlock more growth, they’ll just shift hormone levels around and make sides harder to deal with. Main thing is keep cals high enough to gain weekly, that'll determine your growth more than tweaking doses imo.

For a second cycle this is very sensible. I do agree with @ozzyboy with the ramping, not necessary. Test E takes weeks to fully stabilise, so bumping it mid cycle doesn’t really “kick” anything faster. Just adds more estrogen management variables. Same with app climbing every couple weeks. You’d honestly be better off picking your target dose early, like Test 400/NPP 200 and holding it steady so bloodwork actually means something. 3IU gh is more recovery, not a mass driver. Size will come from food/test/npp. If your calories aren’t properly in surplus this will turn into a recomp not a mass cycle.

thank you so much for the feedback. i will be getting a baseline bloodwork i would like to check my prolactin levels and E2 prior to this as well just because i don't want to be losing the plot immediately and my biggest concern is my lipids from my last bloodwork. i lost 18kg and got shredded after this but i realize some things don't fix themselves just by losing weight so i need to be extra cautions on NPP.

if you guys have any tips on what else i can do to manage this safely and still make progress or what else to look out for that would be great !!

Haemoglobin (Hb)129 g/L130 – 180 g/L
RBC (Red Blood Cell count)6.2 × 10¹²/L4.5 – 5.8 × 10¹²/L
MCV (Mean Cell Volume)62 fL80 – 95 fL
MCH (Mean Cell Hb)19 pg27 – 32 pg
MCHC306 g/L320 – 360 g/L

thanks mate i will implement this strategy. sometimes being too cautious can be detrimental

Good move getting baseline prolactin and E2. But honestly, your red blood markers are the bigger thing here.. That combo of high RBC but low haemaglobin and really low cell size isn’t the usual “gear thick blood” look. When steroids push red blood cells up, haemoglobin usually goes up too. Yours doesnt. That points more towards something like low iron or a genetic trait rather than just cycle related stuff. Before adding more Test and NPP I’d figure that out properly. If you already have something going on there and then push androgens on top youu could make things messier. My advice would be to sort the blood markers first, then optimise the cycle once you know everything’s stable. Better to be safe than sorry.

yes thanks for pointing that out, i have a family history/trait of thalassemia which was passed down.. which is why these markers are like this. Due to this being a genetic trait ( i know you are not a doctor) but no doctor is going to help me haha, what do you think are my options? run this cycle as is.... keeping the dose low and conservative as i know EQ and NPP affect these markers negatively. I was actually going to run EQ but then i changed to npp due to my existing bloodwork. Maybe if i go ahead with this cycle maybe make the bloodwork more frequent than just at the 8 week point.....

Ok, but Test will still push haematocrit up regardless. Dropping EQ was smart, that would’ve been the worst choice for your bloods. If you run the proposed, keep Test/npp doses alot more moderate, don’t ramp up and pull labs earlier than week 8 so you can catch haematocrit before it climbs.

Thanks again !!, i have re structures the cycle, reduced the doses and removed the ramping keeping them stable. I have added bloodwork at week 4 and again during week 8.... post cycle bloods after week 12. Hopefully this is safer. i chose NPP over anything else as its a short ester and if things go south and unmanageable i can pull the pin. i was feeling like these doses would not give me much gains but that is just the meat head in me talking. Open to hearing any feedback or additional add ons for this. My food intake will be certainly higher pushing carbs and keeping protein around 200g from whole foods with a bit of crumbed chicken burgers few times a week
