Soreness delayed ?

Hi,

Today is Thursday I trained my back on Tuesday. Yesterday I had nil doms in my back muscles. I actually thought I didn’t train it hard enough. Today as soon as I woke up I could feel it. Why was I not sore yesterday ? Why did it take a full extra day for the soreness to come out ? I’ve only been training 5-6 months so pretty new. Every other body part is always sore the next day or even that night. I do have alot of trouble sleeping due to a broken femur that is slowly reaching the end of the healing process. I get 6-7 hours sleep a night. I know not perfect but it’s all I can manage due to the mild discomfort in the femur. Can anyone enlighten my on the DOMS delay ?? Cheers 👌

DOMS can hit anywhere from next day up to 2 to 3 days later. Back especially lags cause it’s a big group with heaps of little stabilisers. Nothing wrong, just how the body reacts. Don’t overthink it bro.
