Sleeping issues from Testosterone

I'm no expert when it comes to this but all I can boil it down to is the individual and how their body reacts.Tren for example, not everyone gets all the sides that come with it but some get all of it at a small dosage.

Like anything, too much of any compound will muck with you one way or another. Long durations and high dosages of test can probably cause sleeping issues. Generally, problems like these start to pop up at doses of 500-600mg per week or more, especially if you're running these high doses for an extended period. Everyone reacts differently, though some guys can handle 750mg or more with no major sleep issues, while others might start having problems at lower doses like 400mg.

For me, whenever I ran high Test cycles, I'd sometimes have trouble winding down at night, just felt too wired. It can happen.

Hey guys,

Do any of use have experience with insomnia or sleep apnea while on testosterone and what helped use with it?

Was told it's to high testosterone?
I've never had sleeping issues with high dosages of Test... only with Tren.

Just lower dose until you sleep better, it’s common with higher doses. Lots of natural sleep supplements available but avoid light & heat ( harder in summer )

High test also messes with my sleep. I think it just comes with the territory when you're at those high doses. I've also been told that it could be from high estrogen levels.

whenever i have had issues sleeping whilst on cycle its always been either the initial two weeks of adjustment or not getting my ai right. the higher bp always makes for a more disruptive but when i dial the ai in i sleep better (and im usually training harder). i track all my sleep stages and metrics can confirm that after a month on test my rem sleep and slow wave sleep increase by a huge amount. almost an hour more each night.

there are also some good supplements out there. magnesium is great (trimag by pillar), ashwagandha will assist sleep as will melatonin. there’s a great supplement called sedate by lifted nutrition which i swear by.

So done more research and spoke to a endocrinologist. High testosterone is known to affect people who suffer sleep apnea.

So I'm guessing the sleep issues I'm having are from the apnea, plus my recent anxiety has been high which I will make another post about.

You have to look at other factors too.
Anyone is a shift worker , sleep different hours.
Pre workout drinks in afternoon before bed etc
I was going to gym at 3pm several pre workout drinks
By the time 8pm I was still energised

My sleep lately has been atrocious, sleep heavy like 5 hours wake up with energy then a few hours later tired again.😁
I will try the magnesium see how I go .

Even at HRT (Reandron) doses Test makes my sleep apnea worse along with insomnia.

The sleep doctor I see confirmed that steroids will DEFINITELY make sleep apnea worse.

However I suffer absolutely no ill effects from Anavar at 50mg per day for 12 weeks.

Nandrolone at 600mgs per week seems to be causing a mild increase in sleep apnea.

Ultimately you go with what your body can handle.
