Retatrutide - GLP-1

G’day gents, this is actually my first post in this group, still trying to understand how everything works.
So I’m currently in a calorie deficit and training 4-5 days a week. On 300mg of test (8weeks) and 300mg of mast (1 week).
I’m thinking to help with the cut to introduce reta GLP -1.
I would love if y’all could share some of your experiences on it, dosage, side effects. Any pointers and even a genuine source would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks lads 🤘🏼

How much weight do you have to lose? I haven't used it but my concerns would be if you're not significanly over weight it's probably better to just stay in a deficit. Also the nausea, vomiting, and gastrointestinal distress which are likely would interfere with training and nutrient absorption.

If you're already in a calorie deficit and training consistently, GLP-1 will be helpful for appetite control but I’d also ask if it's necessary for you right now? Especially if you're not carrying much extra weight. You might find that sticking with your current deficit and focusing on training will get you the results you're after without the sides.

@ChasetheCase mentioned valid points. If you're handling the cut well already, maybe give it a pass for now and see how things go. But if hunger is your main struggle and you're not dropping fat the way you want it could be worth considering.

If you're not obese or dealing with serious weight to lose... you don’t need it. It's made for people who can’t stick to a deficit or are dealing with metabolic issues. If you're already running test and mast, training 4-5 days and in a deficit.... you’re on the right track. Don't overcomplicate it.

GLP-1s will blunt your appetite but will also kill your drive to eat and train in some cases. The sides not worth it if your goal is to build and maintain muscle while cutting.

My advice..dial in your calories, track your macros and let the compounds do their job.

Hunger is literally my main issue, i eat 5 times a day but 2200 calories and hungry 1 hour after my meal

Thanks for your response!
Have you tried it? Is that your personal experience?
The whole social media scene makes it look like its “the” next best thing.

Nope haven’t run it myself, but I know a few blokes who have. Most were carrying a fair bit of weight and struggled with sticking to a deficit... for them it helped curb appetite big time. But a couple ditched it early cause of nausea, low energy and zero drive to train.

It’s def getting hyped hard online but I still reckon if you’re already in a deficit, training hard and on test and mast... you're doing it right. GLP-1s are tools for people who can’t stay consistent, not shortcuts for people already dialled in.
