Hi
42 years old been training basicallty since 18 years old. Did TRT in my 20s but stopped post 30 years of age
So havent touched anything for 10 years and been training naturally
Did a blood test and I dont know what alot of this means but apparently my test is pretty low

Can anyone explain this to me and if there is anything I should do ?
I plan to do a very light sus250 cycle for 10 weeks at 350mg per week. Just the test and nothng else
Mind you I have still been able to make gains the last year from natural training since I had a elbow operation
82kg at 173cm tall with some fat around stomach because I love food. Not much time for cardio to but have to make time I feel

You dont seem to be producing optimal amounts of hormones naturally. If i was in your position (which i have been) i would consider weather i was going to go back on trt for good and finding my optimal maintenance doasge and frequency before doing a cycle with no plan afterwards.
To me it seems hardly worth doing a cycle now and doing PCT just to regain sub optimal levels.
350mg of Sus isn't particularly a light cycle coming from where your at if you have never done a cycle. So if you go trt route find your maintenance and then when you consider cycling, try titrating up by 50mg every few weeks to minimise possibility of side effects and then back to maintenance after cycle.
Hope this helps and good luck

Thanks for the response

Yeh someone else told me my natural test is low. Unsure why. I dont feel bad and have plenty of energy when I work out and I have even made natural gains the last year ( as I had a elbow injury and operation and the last 6 months is recovered enough where it doesnt hurt anymore )
Libido is also good.

I was planning to go on and off cycles but low dosages as I have had cycles before when younger and I had higher dosages in my mid 20s early 30s but dont feel its worth doing big amounts due to health and side effects etc

So I have done cycles before
Sus250 a few times
Test E
and others but havent had anything for the last 10 years

So if 350mg per week isnt a low dosage what do you consider is? I considered 350mg pretty low for someone who has done cycles before ( but just not for a long time in this case )
Maybe I should just see how a 250mg per week cycle works

If you know you can tolerate those dosages then that's ok but I wouldn't advocate someone starting at that dose having never been exposed to that level of hormones. Your test levels are below range, which is cause for trt, mine where similar and I now run trt and have run one cycle. Trt acts as a cruise so my levels are not tanked when I come off cycle.
If you cycle without trt you will likely feel like dogshit when you come off because you will be completely shutdown hormonally potentially for 2-3 months(depending on ester).
Sus has a 15 day half life, and can take 5 half-lives to stop affecting your HPTA before natural hormones kick start again, that's potentially 75 days of dogshit hormone levels.

So with trt should I be seeing a doctor about that

And would I still feel like crap off cycle ( not on TRT) even using PCT post cycle?

Also another thing which is what shocked me about the results of low test is I don't have ANY of the symptoms you get with low testosterone :

I might show my gp my results and get tested again
Low testosterone (Low T) symptoms in men include decreased *** drive, erectile dysfunction, fatigue, low mood/depression, less body/facial hair, reduced muscle mass/strength, increased body fat, poor concentration, sleep problems, hot flashes, and potential infertility or bone loss.

Had a look through your bloods and overall they’re actually pretty decent. Liver, kidneys, lipids, haemoglobin etc all look fine so no major health red flags there. The only thing that really stands out is your test being low on paper, but it’s not that weird you still feel ok. Plenty of long term lifters sit low and still function fine because they’ve trained forever, built a base and just tolerate it better than most. Symptoms aren’t always obvious either, usually recovery, body comp and how beat up you feel is what cops it first. A 350mg sus run for 10 weeks will definitely lift you up, but it’s still a cycle..not TRT and you’ll come back down again after. Even with PCT you’ll likely just end up back at the same low level and can still feel flat for a bit. That’s why its suggested TRT first, not to push anything but because it stops the on/off crash and gives you a stable base. Probably worth redoing bloods and chatting to a GP or men’s clinic so you know exactly where you stand then you can decide if you want proper TRT or just accept what you’re returning to after a cycle.

Thanks yeh I'll show my gp my results and ask if I can get TRT
Although I know he'll ask how I feel etc
If I saw I feel fine etc he probably won't prescribe me anything lol

Feeling ‘fine’ day to day doesn’t always mean hormones are optimal. Especially in your 40s. If you do decide to cycle without TRT just be realistic about the comedown even with PCT. Getting repeat bloods first is smart either way so you’re not guessing.

One thing I’d change straight away is the compound. I’d run Test E over Sus. Smoother levels, easier to manage, easier to come off and bloods are cleaner. Sus is a pain for short runs and drags the shutdown out.
