Log for Monday 26th Jan 2026

Pleased to see weight was pretty stable this morning after travelling away late last week.

Opted for an early morning sesh today as I had to head into work to catch up on some things. So up early and tamed my PWO meal bout an hour prior to training.

Getting pretty fancy with it now, check that fkn deadly cinnamon swirl haha! Jokes aside, it tasted awesome and I’ve got the cook times dialed in now 👊🏼

Push Day

Changed up the program schedule a little this week to accomodate me being in Newcastle tomorrow afternoon.

Overall happy with the session, not regressing on any lifts which is the main thing, maintaining strength whilst still in my mini cut.

Yeah bro @darkHORSE see below mate 😘

1. Mix boiling water with rice flour at 5:1 ratio. I use 50g rice flour so that’s 250ml boiling water.
2. Stir until all mixed/dissolved.
3. Microwave for 30secs
4. Remove from microwave. Stir again until all lumps gone and texture is smooth. Add 1-2 scoops protein powder and mix till smooth.
5. OPTIONAL - I sprinkle some cinnamon in there and give a light stir to give it that fancy swirl look lol.
6. Microwave again for 40secs
7. Jobs done. Put in fridge. Serve with berries/sugar free maple etc

Pull Day

Travelled down to Newcastle today around lunchtime for a follow up appointment at the hospital following surgery early last month.

Also happen to be seeing a band down here tonight so had some time to kill between the 2.

Popped in to Snap Fitness Jesmond. Nice little gym but well equipped.

Had some similar equipment to what I normally use, but not exactly the same. I didn’t track any lifts etc as I didn’t want to throw out my progression tracking, but used the below as a bit of a guide as to the exercise selection etc.

That high/low row was awesome!! Loaded it up to 50 a side, felt good!!
 
Log for Thursday 29th Jan 2026

Weight still moving in the right direction, with no changes to macros or doing anything different. So pleasing results so far and starting to look leaner every day.

Ordered some free “tooling” online, just had to pay $10 postage. Was skeptical but it actually arrived. Even though I can get for free from Community Health, I like the convenience of ordering bulk and not having to go anywhere lol. 😂

Upper Body Day

Had a pretty good sesh. Late getting out of work and had commitments this arvo so had to reduce the volume a bit but still made it through the session 💪🏼💪🏼

Lower Body

Standard pre workout meal went down a fkn treat. Changed it up with some mixed berries and it was damn delicious.

Overall a decent session. Felt good, still maintaining strength across lifts which is a priority atm.

Moving into the new week plan remains the same for now given that fat loss is ticking along at steady rate during this cut. Counting down the weeks until I start increase cals and start growing.

Upper Body

Weight wasn’t too bad this morning despite a less than optimal weekend. Still looking leaner and feeling good. 😊

Was pretty happy with the session. Felt strong, no regression on lifts, body handling the increased volume well (and loving it I reckon).

Attempted to make a healthy pizza for dinner using wrap as a base. Hit the spot with decent macros roughly 40C 50P 15F 🤘🏼

Absolutely nailed the consistency on this now, have a go at it! My favourite PWO meal (tbh the ONLY dedicated PWO meal I’ve really incorporated).. 😌

Lower Body

Was a bit of a lack lustre effort. Gym was busy, equipment constantly occupied, plus my 2nd oldest was training as well so spent some time with him showing a few things.

Threw in some lunges superset with RDLs which finished off the session well.

Bit of movement on the scales this morning, up and down like a fkn yo yo haha. Gradually working in the right direction and I’m still looking reasonably full..

Push Day

Had a solid session. Had to switch up the order on my first 2 exercises which delivered some stronger/weaker results across the 2 compared to the previous week.

Also my new BP Monitor arrived today. Did 3 x tests and obtained the average result (machine generated) and I am pleased with how I’m looking so far.

Next stop is to get bloods done in the week or so to check my baseline before kicking off my new cycle toward the end of the month.

Pull Day

Ran out of time this afternoon so fell short by one exercise, but planning on doing a quick catch up session the following day just to hit some arms.

Overall good sesh.

Final few weeks before I jump back on cycle. Few supps to sort out still, revision of diet, and pre-cycle bloods to sort prior to commencing. Pretty excited for this one!

Had quite a pleasing session. No regression and strength is being maintained which is the goal at the moment.

Feeling strong and connected. I feel like my form has improved drastically over the past few months and im starting to yield the results combined with a decent diet.

Log for Tuesday 10th Feb 2026

Early morning session today, still not a fan haha.

Alarm went off bit before 4am. PWO meal consumed and arrived at the gym bang on 5am.

Normally I’m an afternoon person, however I got talked into an early morning leg session.
My partners friends husband recently reached out to about his mental health and wanting to make a start in the gym. I had given him some general advice around diet and some basic exercises etc.
He’d been hounding me to do a session with him so I finally caved in joined him (not being rude, but I prefer to train solo).

Didn’t document the session, but took him through 3 sets of leg press, extensions, curls and finished off with some calf raises.
Few tweaks to his form but i was surprised with his form being half decent..considering.

Push Day

Good session. Gym was surprisingly quiet and I was able to move freely around and stick to the exercise order with any delays which was a nice change.

Blood test booked, will get done on Friday and see how things are looking ahead of my next cycle starting soon.

Pull Day

Making up for a skipped session yesterday. Well not skipped..rescheduled.

Not my best session, had a slight hangover from the night before.

Start tapering dose of Test up next week, and introducing EQ as a sort of front load for 2 weeks before I kick off cycle. Cant fkn wait
