Memory ?

Hi everyone,

I'm nearing the end of my current cycle and I'm still unsure if I will continue with it as cruise. I have a blood test scheduled for tomorrow. My current regimen is 1 ml of Sustanon per week, 0.8 ml of Masteron, 20 mg of Anavar, plus TRT every 10 weeks.

Lately, I think I've been experiencing some memory loss and confusion, especially when it comes to remembering names. I've automated a lot of tasks at work with AI, which is not helping keep my brain cells, but still.

Have any of you experienced something similar while on a moderate cycle? Did your memory issues eventually improve?

Thanks

Couple of things are red flags here that need to be addressed.

1. Why are you speaking mls of steroids used?

2. No mention of the ester of mast you are using.

3. How did you come to the conclusion that steroids could impact your memory and cause confusion?

2/ E
3/steroids lower IQ but I was not expecting one relatively moderate cycle to impact me. I have a blood test tomorrow, that will tell me if I am supra physiological ( I am usually very low)

It does appear you are in cognitive decline. Maybe it’s early onset dementia. Rare but does happen. I don’t think it’s the gear.

Not a great thing to deal with mate. Best bet is to speak to an actual doctor.

I know Googling symptoms isn’t ideal but I couldn’t help myself. From what I found, memory issues on cycle are usually linked to hormonal imbalances (estrogen, cortisol, neurotransmitters) or lifestyle factors (sleep, hydration, stress). You can and should be checking these markers regularly with bloodwork.

There are plenty of studies on this, I haven’t read them all, but like I said, see a doctor.

Here’s one example

Thank you. I had my blood drawn this morning; there must be some imbalance, likely oestrogen, will see in two days. Yes, there are quite a few studies showing quite seriously unfavorable IQ and memory outcomes associated with steroids, which is unfortunate.

High androgen levels can disrupt neurotransmitters, causing brain fog and forgetfulness. Additionally, steroid-induced cortisol suppression may impair memory consolidation, making it harder to recall recent events. HOWEVER this is normally for high doses not at the level you are taking.

I got my blood test, I am pretty out of wack :ROFLMAO: that must be the reason 6 months ago with TRT alone my Free T was at 170 pmol/L

Testosterone: 48 nmol/L
Free Testosterone: 1625 pmol/L
(150-700) — ↑↑↑ Markedly elevated (>2× upper limit)
  • Oestradiol: 298 pmol/L (<150) — ↑↑↑ Significantly elevated
  • *** Hormone Binding Globulin: 7 nmol/L
No wonder I feel a bit confused but I've been putting on muscle (and growing quite a lot of hair on my back). I'm planning to stop the cycle now; the doctor will probably order a blood test (this one was just for my eyes) to get my new prescription. I have two months to lower the levels from my TRT injection in early April.

You have definitely been combining too much. I’m guessing the trt is Reandron which elevates testosterone levels for a long time- I had to reduce prescribed doses by more than half to get back into high range. Adding Mast or Var would make it a sports cycle which should only be done for a couple of months. Hopefully Memory, mood and sleep will improve when your levels return to range. Keep training & dieting and enjoy those gains

Definitely too much. Surprisingly my sleep and mood have not been affected at all, I would have expected roid rage at these idiotic levels. Nice gains for sure
