Low mood on T

Hi all professional lurker here,

Just reaching out to see if anyone else has had similar experiences.

On my second round of only test e, first cycle was just 250mg to see how my body would go. Currently on 500mg a week in which I felt great first 3-4 weeks but last couple weeks have become pretty depressed ( low mood, rumination, **** all motivation, just generally a downer ).

Not currently taking an AI but get the feeling its my e2 levels out of wack ( no estrogenic sides yet other than mood possibly ). Will be getting bloods done within the next week, just waiting on my concession card. Also recently unemployed and aimless so think life is also a contributing factor.

Is this normal?

Age: 28
BW: 101kg

Cheers

Hey bro good on you for reaching out. I’m not that experienced (at all really) but it does sound like your e2 is out. An AI would certainly help, but may be best to wait for bloodwork so you can make a more educated decision.

I’m sure other boys on here will chime in and help. And sponsors on here like @gearmaniac101 can supply AI if you’re not currently sourcing elsewhere.

Regardless, at least you’re recognising and acknowledging somethings not right and doing something about it 👊🏼

When you up the Test E, sometimes it messes with your hormones, like jacking up estrogen that can hit your mood hard. Best approach is getting bloods done to see where your levels are at. If E2 is high maybe consider an AI but you can also add a little mast instead. I'm thinking it's more the life stuff like job stress can totally pile on too. Hang in there bro and try to say and think positive. Hope you feel better soon!

Hey bro, just remember, your body might need some time to get used to the higher Test. That initial buzz can mellow out as your body adjusts, so it’s normal to feel some mood changes.

Alot of good replies brother definitely get on to having you bloods done
also mate sometimes life can seem alot more overwhelming but you are definitely in the right place
to reach out for advice.
