Anyone here regularly use fitness trackers? Do you find them a valuable addition to your fitness journey?
I've been using smartwatches since the early days of Pebble. After Pebble was acquired by Fitbit, I moved over to their devices—but Fitbit was eventually bought by Google. Lately, I've noticed Fitbit's quality declining a bit, so I'm thinking about switching again. I've heard good things about Garmin watches, particularly regarding their durability and lifespan.
Does anyone have experience with Garmin or similar brands? Would love to hear your thoughts!

I have a Fenix which is great, I'm not sure how it compares to something like Whoop when it comes to the ****ytics. From what I"ve heard Whoop is move focused on the recovery side, where Garmin is more for the activity itself.

I use my Applewatch. Tracks steps, heart rate, workouts and sleep and it all syncs nicely. Also integrates with the Apple health app on my iPhone. No complaints.

I have been enjoying using my Garmin Fenix 5
Ive had it for so long
Used it for doing hikes and bike rides then stopped and just used it for alarms
Now using it again for just basically fun
Heart rate
Calories burned ( but apparently not accurate )
sleep hours ( i find this useful as I try to get 7 hours sleep. Before I was only getting 5-6 hours )

I used cronometer app to for calorie tracking but this is more of a serious thing to really ensure I am getting macros etc

I wish that would integrate the watch to cronometer
