Kinda depends on what you're after. Some cheap supplements can still get the job done, but with expensive ones you're often paying for better quality ingredients, better absorption and fewer fillers. Comes down to what you can afford.

I did it all in my younger days, my place was stacked with supplements, these days my preworkout is coffee, there was no secret, I thought to myself if I consume enough food do I really need all these supplements, the answer is no, remember a supplement is exactly that, something extra to supplement your daily intake of food, remember your body can only process so much food, supplements etc per day, the rest will be waste, I began cutting back on supplements and kept on doing well in the gym, I kept cutting back till there was no more, and still good food and training and all flowed smoothly, that was it, if I would supplement number one is creatine monohydrate, also all the vitamins minerals etc some by mouth mostly by injection, kynoseleen was my favourite, however mother nature has provided all we need in plain simple food, Gym Eat Sleep and repeat, it's a very simple recipe, oh yes chuck in a bit of gravy as well

Cheap is ok as long as they’re not full of sugars & name’s you can’t pronounce. Unless you got food intolerance issues- then options are limited and often cost more as they digest better

Totally agree-Most are quickly turned into expensive urine. Some are Convenient for special needs diets and travelling 🏜️

I have to agree with all of the above. What it comes down to is that expensive supps can offer better quality in terms of purity, ingredient sourcing and absorption. Usually they're third-party tested and backed by research. For example certain types of protein may be absorbed faster.

That said, if your overall nutrition is on point, the difference you’ll see from spending more on high-end supplements might be minimal, especially when compared to the core gains from training, diet, and rest.

I did some reading on CoQ10 and it turns out it's worth going for a more expensive brand. The better ones use ubiquinol which your body absorbs way easier than the cheaper ubiquinone stuff. I think there are some supplements that are worth paying more for.

That's true.

I use CoQ10 alongside other health supplements that make a real difference in bloodwork. I reckon if you're using PEDs health supplements are worth it. But as for other overpriced supplements that don't do much I agree, not worth it.

I really relate to what you're saying about cutting back on supplements. I used to have a shelf full of them too, thinking they were the magic key. But like you, I realized that food can cover most of what we need. I’ve been adding barley grass barley juice powder to my routine recently, just a scoop in my morning shake. It’s an easy way to get some greens and vitamins without overdoing it. I also still swear by creatine—simple and effective! But, yeah, overall, good food and consistent training is what really matters. That’s my approach now too—Gym, Eat, Sleep, and repeat.

Yes no maybe.

The issue as someone has already said is what are the fillers in them
A few high end brands when you look at them they are nothing but marketing then you look at some not well known brands and they don't have fancy marketing but had some very pure products

Premium Supps is one of them. They buy bulk and sell cheap.

Creatine, L-Glutamine, Taurine

All way cheaper than at chemists and sports stores and no additives.
