Just wanted to pose a question and start a convo I guess. Not asking about sets or reps
I got back in the gym for the last 2 years after a bit of a life detour (work, young kids, bit of fat dad bod action). Been loving the process again, but recently Iāve noticed my mindsetās changed. Like Iām training smarter, not just harder. Less ego, more consistency.
Just wondering for the older crew or even younger guys who had a shift early, was there a moment when things āclickedā for you? Like something that flipped the switch from chasing pumps or PBs to building a real long term lifestyle with this?
Could be injury, could be burnout, could be just growing up. Keen to hear what changed your approach or attitude.
