Hi Guys,
Just wanted to share my transformation journey over the last 7 months. Started the year overweight and unfit, and now feel like I've got some wins on the Board and a solid foundation.
I hadn't been in a gym for 6 years. Spent the first 3 months getting back into the weights and hit cardio really hard (didn't really know what I was doing) but dropped 3.5kg in weight. Here's a few pics from 30 March. I thought I was looking good (

).
Then I decided I wanted to build my physique, I am in my 50s and thought this was my last chance (and maybe the boat had already sailed). I read heaps (I wanted to use science and not waste my time), trained hard (but only 3 times a week) and focused on three things (1) Food (2) Rest (3) Progressive Overload.
Made some decent progress, but because of my age decided a helping hand wouldn't hurt ... just finished my first cycle (8weeks). Outcome of 7 months training, being obsessive on food (every day - hitting macros and counting calories), supplement stack & 8 wk cycle below.
I didn't know much at the start but now realise why all those hours in the gym when I was younger didn't deliver results.
My goal when I took the March photo was to bench 100kg, thought it would take years, but I am now doing working sets at 100kg x 6 reps
