Another gym in town got some new machines so had to go test them out, of course!! The plate loaded fly machine was actually pretty fkn cool! Felt awkward at first but

Training Focus:
Today I just threw together a quick arm workout as I didn’t have much time for the gym unfortunately. Lots of reps, lots of sets, shorter rest periods and superset most sets with the opposing muscle group.

Trained at a different gym this arvo due to my newish regular not being open (not 24/7). Didn’t track my lifts as we know the equipment/weight/resistance can change drastically across equipment brands etc. But I had a really good workout. I hit:

Pendulum Squats
RDL
Leg Extensions
Standing Calf Raise
Seated Calf Raise

I’ve had some pain in my knees so I’ve kinda been avoiding training legs. Whilst the session went well, I definitely felt it in the knees afterwards. Probably old age 🤣😅
 
Week 7, how's the cycle feeling?

So far, bit underwhelming tbh. Partially a mental thing, not looking as lean, but softer etc. First time I’ve actually consciously tried to eat at a calorie surplus and gain some size.

Going to drop the dosage on the EQ down as of next week, probs to around 210mg a week. BP has been a little high, energy levels have been low as has libido. Due to get bloods done shortly which should indicate what’s going on. I’ve pushed close to this level test before without issue so the EQ is the only variable I can see (first time running as well).

Sounds like EQ’s not agreeing with you brother. Dropping the dose is a good call and bloods will confirm pretty quick. Don’t stress the softer look brother, that’s just the surplus doing its job.
 
The first time with EQ I pushed it high and average. Next run I kept it around 250mg with test and it was a completely different experience. appetite & strength just kept ticking up week to week. I felt that my bp was much easier to manage as well. I found thats a definitely a slow burner and never really felt it early. More something that shows over time.

From what I've read some don’t do well with higher EQ but at a moderate dose it works well IF your body agrees with it.
