Is high perfume grade ethanol suitable for mixing RU58841?

Gday everyone

Decided I’d brew my Ru58841 myself to save me some money.

I’ve been having trouble finding a place to purchase pure ethanol with no additives from as you require a permit when purchasing.

I’ve spoken to an ethanol supplier who recommended me their high quality perfume grade ethanol which sits at 95.5% I believe.

Given this type of ethanol is made to be sprayed on our skin, should this have any affect on my scalp when applying?

I looked into this as well and did some research but didn't end up going through with it.

From my findings if the perfume grade stuff is just ethanol and water (no denaturants and no fragrances) then it should be fine for topical use. Definitely ask for a spec sheet or SDS to be sure. Some perfume grade batches are totally clean, others have extra chemicals that can mess with your skin long term, especially if you're applying daily.

If it checks out, patch test it first and you’re good. Let us know how it goes.
