Interstate Travel

Hi All,

I am currently going through a cycle and something has come up that requires me to travel interstate for about 2-3 weeks. Unfortunately, I cannot drive and will need to go through the airport and was wondering if I should be worried about taking trt through security. Should I post it to a PO box in advance? Or will it be fine in carry / checked luggage.

If it’s with a prescription, it’s fine to fly with it just keep it in original packaging and carry a copy of your script. If it’s UGL and you can post it to a PO Box that's also fine. Just package it the same way you originally received it.

Heaps of mixed opinions on this and it’s been discussed a lot. Generally though, if it’s ugl, most people wouldn’t risk flying with it. Yeah you might get it through, but there’s always a chance you don’t. Your call at the end of the day. If you’ve got the option to post it ahead, that’s probably the best move.
