First cycle advicd

Hi guys,
Long time lurker. First time poster here.
Sorry to add to the pile of "first cycle advice" posts.

I'm looking at starting a 10 week test-E only cycle.
Bio:
32 years old
90kg
175cm
Roughly 12-15% BF
Training since I was 16
Sleep, nutrition, hydration and training all dialled in
Recent bloods have my test at 27nmol (so upper mid range for my age)

Curious to start a test cycle to try and break through a plateau, improve recovery due to my age and to be honest see what the fuss is about.

Looking at running a 10 week cycle of 250mg Test-E (2x125mg/week)

I'm after any feedback and advice on this as a first cycle. Realistic expectations on what results will be achieved.
I'm also after some specific advice on a PCT cycle to run. This appears to be quite convoluted in my research and can't find an exact PCT protocol to run.

Also I have just came across advice on this thread to take HCG. Is this recommended as well?

Hey Johnny, 250mg Test E will shut you down. I’d run it 12 to 16 weeks if you’re going to do it, 10 is a bit short for a long ester. You’ll need a proper PCT so start about 2 weeks after your last pin and run a SERM (Nolva or Clomid) for 4to6 weeks. Get bloods before, mid and after recovery. HCG is optional but if you use it, run it during cycle only. Helps maintain testes function and size.

Don’t expect anything crazy. Maybe 3 to 5kgs on the scale, some of that will be water/glycogen. If diet and training are actually dialled in you’ll look fuller, recover better and add some lean tissue. Real noticeable physique changes come from multiple cycles over time with consistent training and food..not one mild test run.
 
With you training all this time without gear, with the height and stats you have. Looks like you have put on a great deal of size naturally. My advice is to remain natural.

Hey brother, thanks for the detailed response!
On the PCT, how much and how often should it be taken? Is it a standard type does or based on BW?

My expectations are pretty low in terms of additional size, just curious to see how it feels, what improvements are made and then reassess further cycles.
