Fainted after taking first 10mg of Anavar

I think I created a perfect storm, by taking my first 10mg of Anavar directly after some bloodwork , with a relatively empty stomach as i missed dinner last night. Had a protein shake then took 1 10mg var tab, and took my test-e dose. After about an hour I started sweating pretty hard, checked my BP and it was 143/80. Soon after that I found myself waking up on the floor wondering wtf happened. After that just went and layed down, checking BP constantly and it was back to normal.

After a bit of digging it seems like low blood sugar / emptyish stomach was the main culprit, but I think I'm gonna drop the var from this cycle, seeing as though its my first.

Seems like this stuff is pretty damn strong, even though its considered a "mild" oral lol.

Anyone else had similar experiences with var ?

Could you have nicked and injected into a vain when you took your test, where did you inject, did you aspirate before injecting

Not sure if it would cause that but I have read this type of stuff before same symptoms except for fainting.

Was left glute yesterday, everything seemed to go fine on that front. Ive been on TRT @ 125mg per week with twice daily injections for about 4 months, but yesterday switched to 300mg per week and EoD injections, running this cycle for 10 weeks.

I'm pretty certain the low blood sugar due to fasting the day before for the bloodwork spiked my BP once the var kicked in, and just exacerbated by not having enough in my stomach.

Anavar can affect glucose metabolism, potentially leading to drops in blood sugar, if you already had low blood sugar, this combined with Anavar could cause dizziness or fainting. It also causes electrolyte imbalances just like other anabolic steroids, Anavar can alter sodium, potassium, and other electrolyte levels, affecting hydration and blood pressure regulation. This is why it’s very important to stay well hydrated when on a cycle.

I had attempt number 2 after being well fed and hydrated, no problems at all.

Its not the Anavar brother, I always passout when I do bloods, with me it's like I'm squeamish or something, there's other reasons also why a person can passout, empty stomach a lack of sleep a few extra drinks the night before etc or maybe that lady that kept U going for long hours and now ur exhausted LOL

HAHA, no alcohol or ladies, so can rule those out :D Im 99% certain it was the lack of food and potentially overhydration, just smashed myself with too much at once. Needless to say Ive stopped the cycle anyway. E2 going crazy even on 125mg a week so going to get that sorted and maybe revisit things in 6 - 12 months.

Hey mate, that sucks. Hope you're OK.

I've nothing really to add except that I endorse anavar.

At 58 I began TRT (Test e 2 x per week) then added anavar a couple of months later. I've had 2 x 7 week cycles 40mg/day and never had an issue.

I have no point of reference never having used anything before, but the anavar blew me up like a circus balloon, in a good way. I went from a reasonably OK dad bod to a ripped unit in about 8 months.

Cheers, all the best

Yeah I'm all good now mate , cheers.

Will definitely include the var when I'm ready for a cycle. Do you also up your test-e with the var , or do you just run your TRT dose with the var included?

Turns out I'm a hyper-responder to exogenous test from my last bloodwork, so not sure if that impacts var too, but going to get everything all balanced out and stable for a while before thinking about starting a cycle again.

I really wasn't thinking when repsonding earlier. All though my comment is all true, my writing was for the assumption that the Anavar was being used regularly, not as a first single consumption. Anavar as a single tablet is highly unlikely to do anything that disruptive to cause you pass out.

Were you aprehensive about taking it? Wondering if there is the possiblity that it may have been psychological reasons for fainting.

I would say psychological reasons can cause one to faint, taking a dose of Anavar be it a small or larger dose will not cause symptoms of faint, however if one has like low blood sugar and on top of that a certain fear so to speak of a medication yes then indirectly one could pass out,

I would say a mix of apprehensiveness and excitement, but I'm glad I've backed out of it for now so I can dial things in a bit better before starting a cycle. I think I was a bit too keen to get started and pulled the trigger too early.
