Hi all
I am looking for some advice and hoping that with all the experienced people on this forum I will get some sound, honest guidance.
I am a 58yr old female. Up until 18months ago I weighed 59kgs, with 18% body fat (I have a very small frame) and have been a regular gym goer my entire life. Not to be a bodybuilder, but to build and maintain muscle and strength and generally keep fit. However, I sustained a very bad back injury, and more recently underwent surgery, which rendered me unable to do anything, during which time my body disappeared to nothing. I now weight 50kgs and although have been back to the gym for the past 3 months, going 5 times per week, it is like starting from scratch. I am shocked at how weak I have become. I have a PT to help but I feel it is futile. Especially at my age, increasing muscle mass on a post-menopausal woman doesn't come easily. I am increasing my calorie intake and am currently at 2500 per day, eating 6 meals per day. In order to aid my muscle/strength development I have done a lot of research on PEDs and it seems there is one in particular (anavar) which is better suited to women. I simply want to regain my 'prior self' - be strong and be able to lift, carry or move things without requiring assistance all the time. I am a cardiac trained nurse and understand very well the side effects these supplements can have if not taken appropriately, but with the right guidance I am willing to give it a go. Can anyone please advise.
Thanks you all in anticipation.
