Anavar

Hi all
I am looking for some advice and hoping that with all the experienced people on this forum I will get some sound, honest guidance.
I am a 58yr old female. Up until 18months ago I weighed 59kgs, with 18% body fat (I have a very small frame) and have been a regular gym goer my entire life. Not to be a bodybuilder, but to build and maintain muscle and strength and generally keep fit. However, I sustained a very bad back injury, and more recently underwent surgery, which rendered me unable to do anything, during which time my body disappeared to nothing. I now weight 50kgs and although have been back to the gym for the past 3 months, going 5 times per week, it is like starting from scratch. I am shocked at how weak I have become. I have a PT to help but I feel it is futile. Especially at my age, increasing muscle mass on a post-menopausal woman doesn't come easily. I am increasing my calorie intake and am currently at 2500 per day, eating 6 meals per day. In order to aid my muscle/strength development I have done a lot of research on PEDs and it seems there is one in particular (anavar) which is better suited to women. I simply want to regain my 'prior self' - be strong and be able to lift, carry or move things without requiring assistance all the time. I am a cardiac trained nurse and understand very well the side effects these supplements can have if not taken appropriately, but with the right guidance I am willing to give it a go. Can anyone please advise.
Thanks you all in anticipation.

Anavar can be helpful, but it's not a cure-all solution. It will provide an increase in muscle mass and strength, especially for women. But there's always risks associated... like anything I guess.

You already probably know this but I think it's really important to exercise with caution that's why I strongly suggest speaking with a knowledgeable doctor before making any decisions about taking Anavar or anything else for that matter. At least the doctors can help you evaluate the potential benefits and drawbacks, and determine if it's the right approach for you.

In saying all this, in order to achieve your desired results... it's important to maintain consistency with your training and diet. You've already made progress, and with dedication, you can continue to progress. Keep pushing yourself and taking care of your body.

5 mg per day for females, women only have like a 72 days window of anabolics use of any type before virilisation becomes inevitable.dont use for more than two weeks consecutive, time off then back on.renember the window period for steroid use for females.72 days over a lifetime

I do agree with @seventies voodoojuice ... Everyones different, my wife is 50, she's run var three times at 10mg/ divided 5mgx2 day, 4 to 6 week cycles with good results. She's running test at 20mg week of test E, 1 pin/wk now and loving the feeling and performance increase. Also 1iu hgh 5 days week. All low doses, more for replacement therapy than performance enhancement.

Recommend starting at 5 mg Ed and not to go over 20mg without expecting sides. Personally, my gf started at 10 and jumped to 20 after 3 weeks and was fine but everyone is different.

Ideal amount of Anavar for women is between 5 to 20mgs a day. Don't go over 20mgs, taking higher dosages increases the risk of virilisation. As your completely new to using Anavar, start with a small dose of 5mg daily and observe how your body reacts to it. You can gradually increase the amount from there. Anavar is awesome and can produce results pretty quickly, you'll see changes in your body pretty quickly (as long as your diet is on point and exercising).

Typically a cycle of Anavar for women lasts for around 4 to 6 weeks. Some women will take up to 20mg of Anavar daily, but this is a high dose and will most likely cause severe side effects... due to its 10-hour half-life, best if you divide the Anavar dose for in two. Take half in the morning, and the rest 9 hours later. Pay attention to your body and dont increase the dosage if you're not comfortable in doing so.

Once you've finished your cycle, wait at least 6 weeks before starting the next one. This is very important as you want your body to fully recover after a cycle. Most importantly just see how your body reacts to it. Hope this helps!

Any more than 5mg may make you pretty cranky in the beginning so that is something to be aware off 👍

Thank you so much for your reply. I guess the fact that PEDs are not typically part of a GP's routine consultation, or that is my perception anyway, the idea of chatting to one didn't enter my head, despite being in the health care profession. I take it on board and thank you again for taking the time to reply.

Thanks very much. Very valuable information. However, I apologize but what do you mean, "week of test E, 1 pin/wk"?? I am brand new at this.

Sorry, by that I mean she injects 20mg of Testosterone Enanthate once a week as part of her cycle with the Anavar.
