    The 1kg drop in two weeks on reta is very likely a mix of water/glycogen and some fat, especially with reduced training volume ..nothing to stress about. Give it another couple of weeks with steadier sessions and you’ll get a clearer picture.

    2 weeks won’t hurt you at all. Just keep active, keep the protein high and carbs low. You’re not going to lose muscle in that time. You can treat it as a deload and come back fresher, joints happier and motivation higher. If you want to do something try slow tempo push ups, lunges, bodyweight...

    Enjoy your holiday bro. You say 1 or 2 weeks...... not worth trying to find gear. But if you feel your going to deflate in that period of time....... either don't go or postpone. Clearly your cycle is important to you.
